Two 12 year-olds spent Thursday night in juvenile detention for allegedly trying to sicken their teacher — who has a severe allergy to strawberries — with a dose of synthetic strawberry-scented balm, applied to a drinking glass.

Kids today are crazy!! I am less than 30, but I can't remember anything like this happening when I was 12. You just sucked it up and took your punishment.
People may blame tv, video games, the media. I put the blae squarley on these parents. They obviously have not instilled a sense of consequence or personal responsibility in their children.

Feeling very remourseful are they? Remorseful over what? Getting caught or failing to kill their teacher? The only thing those two are in all likelihood remorseful over is getting caught.

What in the hell triggered this? A bad grade on a test? Ooooh, there's a real reason to try and induce a fatal allergic reaction...not. It is really a good thing I'm such a pessimist or I'd really be disillusioned right about now.
