Flaming space junk from a Russian satellite narrowly missed hitting a Chilean airliner over the Pacific Ocean. The pilot of a LAN Chile Airbus A340 en
route to New Zealand told air traffic controllers he had seen pieces of flaming space junk falling in front of the plane and behind it.
So the next time you're airborne, be prepared to get peppered by space debris. And that includes loads of crap too, considering the number of guys
who've been in space for extended periods!
Seriously, this IS a serious issue! And at the present juncture, nothing can be done about it. So fasten your seat belts. You may be in for helluva
ride!!
Cheers!
