Red alert! newbie off the port bow!

Well, okay, sort of a newbie. I've been lurking to various degrees on ATS for years (i originally found the board through William One Sac's page, via his camp hero expeditions, a few years back), mostly very lightly, though. i decided it was finally time to wade into the fracas and register myself an account.


I'm not a huge conspiracy guru, nor do i have a great deal of personal experience to bring to the table, but i have a critical eye and i've done a lot of reading on a variety of topics; hopefully i can add something to some conversation somewhere... at some point.

I won't bore you all with an abundance of personal details, since, well, i'm sure nobody's all that curious about me. there are a few things in my profile if anyone cares to check. suffice to say i'm a creature of the night who gets his hands into a little of everything, and has an unquenchable thirst to know things other people don't want him to know.

Same here. When I have downtime at work I find it hard to decide whether I'd rather waste time on MySpace (which you can get broed with in about 5 mins) or at least fill my thirst for knowledge and/or speculation here on ATS (which has vast resources of user posts and threads).

Love it.

But, you know. What if ATS was set up by the government as a disinformation site and to lure the masses into a stagnant state. It definitely sucks my life away. If this is the case, it's the first thing I'm grateful the government has done.

Yeah, we flog that dead horse once a month.
If ATS is just a disinfo site run by the Feds, I think they've done a great job, and I would have to applaud them for it.
I don't think that's the case though.

But never let your guard down.
You never really know.

Apserger's is an autistic spectrum disorder; it's somewhat hotly debated as to whether it actually exists, or is just a medical excuse for geekiness and being a social misfit. i suppose in a nutshell, you could describe it as your brain speaking a different language than those without asperger's/autism.

as i said in my profile, i'm not positive i have it, as i haven't been diagnosed, but i've often had it suggested to me by those that know about the condition, and i lean towards agreeing now that i've done my homework on the condition.
