CHINA—On March 16, 2007, an unusual rock went on display in Beijing. This rock has "hair," almost identical to human hair, growing out of its "head."

Interesting, but why haven't any scientists put a 'name' on it yet?

'Hair growing rock' just doesn't seem scientific enough to me.


This also caught my attention,


The value of the rock is estimated to be around 10 million Yuan (approximately USD 1.3 million).


Something tells me there will be quite a few 'hair growing rocks' on E-bay soon.

To be honest, it looks like a rock with a bad toupee set on it. And if it's that valuable, why does a cafe own it?

I think it's one of them there tabloid news items.
