We descended from reptiles??

HI there guys, been noticing alot of people thinking that humans decended from reptiles based on all sorts of different religious texts from the bible to stone tablets from Babylon.

If at all possible could you please post links to good sites and media ie videos, documentries etc.

Im very facinated by this as I can see how it plays in with the whole Nephilim story in the bible.

check out the meaning of snake in ancient egypt. similar belief there.

only thing i can't figure out (about ancient egyptians) is;
if the snake created human kind, how come they worship animals like cats and hawks which are snakes' natural enemies?!

Mammals evolved from the carniverous Synapsids in the late Paleozoic. They survive the great Permian extinction as the Therapsid group. Proto-mammals appear in the late Jurassic, so the lineage goes: therapsid >> cynodont >> eucynodont >> mammal
