I have been getting emails about debt but if you highlight them with your mouse they reveal cryptic message.

Does anyone know the reason for this as they dont make any sense, and has anyone else received these?

I got one today asking if I was in debt and when I highlighted it it was on about some other digffernet subject

The black text I could see, the red text was white in the email so I couldn't see it.
Looks like some randomly generated garble. Maybe it's to try and get past spam filters somehow? I don't think it's anything more than junk mail however. That's my experience anyway, maybe yours is something else eldowardo.

I think this is how terrorists communicate without being detected.
They send loads of spam mail to everyone and only terrorists have app to decrypt message.

I used to get spam email with different cryptic addresses. I think that this particular email was from the same people. When I used to get it, I would block future emails from this particular address. Later, the sender would send a different email, but different address that looks encrypted---for example: 3lxhlxy@ex7fow2. I think this is because the sender is making it difficult for others to find out where the spam mail is coming from. I've been blocking the spam mail addresses evertime and now I haven't gotten anymore, which I figure they got fed up with changing their email addresses.

I find encryption technology to be very interesting.

It could also be encrypted so as to get by e-mail spam filterers.

I've never highlighted the text of my spam e-mails. I just through it in the trash before I can read the entire topic name. =P

i think ive traced it to some weird jewish / native american conspiracy. but there are probably more groups using this method.

i got one ad for gold investing that has weird text messages in a real tiny font on the bottom when highlighted.

How are you able to prove it is a conspiracy at all? Maybe it's all just some garbage, or, maybe it actually is a conspiracy.

your right, its probably just that group of emails that i got, and others are involved in their own type of email scams. The pictures were all comming from the same place even though the email addresses changed.

some probably just use messages like that to get past spam filters.

For the past couple of years I'd get 10-20 spam or junk emails daily.

In the past 2 weeks, I have had like 3. No Spam no Junk, No more porn.

Makes me wonder.
