UFO's and then end of man kind

Well let’s start of by saying I tend to be indecisive about whether I believe in aliens existing and whether they don’t. Also let it be noted that some of this is fact and the majority of it is opinion so I don’t get my self in trouble being as it’s my first post. Also your going to have to read a bit before every thing gets tied into why UFO sittings could be very credible.

So all through out recorded history there have been reported sittings of UFO’s. Now I would like to think that from the 1900’s and up is when alien sittings started to happen more often than in the past but instead of the 1900’s let’s go back a bit further to the 1800’s which is the starting point of the industrial revolution this would serve as a better starting point for my idea. Now the industrial revolution is one of the key turning points of technology for man kind it’s also when global warming got a jump start. All through out the 1800’s with factories coming into play coal and other fuels were burnt sending gases into the ozone which really hurt our environment.

Now let’s skip forward to the 1900’s at this point we are using fossil fuels which we all know are bad for the environment. Like I stated earlier this is the point in time UFO sittings have increased more so than in the 1500’s-1800’s (I personally cant think of any UFO sittings during that time period if you can feel free to let me know).

Now if we skip to present day there are a lot of UFO sittings each year. On another note according to most major scientist in the year 2007 we either have past the point of no return and cant reverse global warming or we have only a few years left before global warming cant be reversed.

Ok so here is were UFO sittings come into play most UFO sittings are of small craft that can move at extremely fast speeds and some times can be invisible to radar these small craft have the characteristics of a scout craft. The sited UFO’s tend to very in characteristics as far as looks and lights go which leads me to believe that not just one race of aliens are scouting us out but multiple species. You might ask your self why are these scout crafts scouting us out well I believe that they know what we won’t admit that global warming may cause the extinction of our race because of harsh new climates and the possibilities of anarchy, war, famine, and disease.

Now if we do go extinct that would mean that a wonderful resources rich planet would be up for grabs which to a expanding civilization could be a big deal on the account of they didn’t have to kill us off because we are potentially doing it are self’s which is why UFO sittings in the modern age make sense.

Actually, as you have said UFOs can be traced back to the beginnings of recorded history. There are many objects that have been recorded from the BCE to now...
In 329 BCE Alexander the Great recorded his army was 'followed' by two glowing flying shields.
So, this phenomena is not a historically recent one.

Well, I think you need to look up a UFO time line, there have been many recorded events even before what you have posted. Since the technology for photography did not exist way back then, we have to rely on the recorded documents that are attainable. Many start the time line around 1947, with Kennith Arnold's famous sighting, but this is not the case.

Well, right now what you speak of is speculation. We have really no idea why they are here watching us, the only way we might find out is if the governments of the world come clean about UFOs. I know you stated in the beginning that all of this is your opinion: and yes, with UFOs that is really all we have to go off of - but with recorded history, it would seem that we as a species have been being observed for a long time.

So, what you are saying is perhaps that we are in essence left to destroy ourselves so another species could move in and harvest the planet. Perhaps - but yet again that is speculation. If that where true though, I don't understand why they would wait thousands upon thousands of years. With the technology that these entities supposedly have - they could have sped that process up and we would have been extinct a long time ago.

I think the recent UFO sightings world wide could be a variety of things - Aliens, black project reverse engineered craft, and yes, sometimes even human error.

The question you ask is what we all want to know - why are they here?

I don't think this planet has much left to offer in terms of resources. But I don't know. Doesn't make much sense to camp out on a planet which may, in the end, be considerably crappy in comparison to another planet which has yet to be exploited for its resources.

In otherwords, if aliens can travel all over the place, it doesn't make much sense to mess on a single planet for years and years when they can go elsewhere and find better.
