many people are skeptic because the governments have manipulated the population to be skeptic. what a shame. we need more people with open minds. only then will people take this topic seriously.

I agree that this story needs a follow up. I too have emailed c-to-c asking for a look at this.

There may be a small problem locating these kids (now adults). Considering the civil strife that has gone on in that area in the past few years, I am sure that there are a number of 'displaced' persons. Refugees are hard to track down under any circumstance, and the budget of a TV show might not stretch that far.

It is worth a try, and I too will make my two cent's worth known to c-to-c, but don't bet on this happening. And it is a shame to think that this report would/could be another casualty of the termoil in that region.

Although getting C2C's attention is better than nothing, are the guys over at C2C really in a position to do any kind of investigative work? Because that's what we really need: some serious, earnest investigation. On top of that, it would be nice for a more legitimate network to take a look at this case. There's some pretty "out there" stuff on C2C.

I doubt it will be easy to track down the people that witnessed this event. But considering that there were SIXTY-TWO of them, it should definitely be possible.

I havent given up on this, SOMEBODY will reply back to me someday lol.
I have also began sending emails to the History Channel, if they found it important, they would definately have the revenue to further investigate this and the resources to hunt down these now grown up witnesses.

It was a beautiful story and I too wanted to hear so much more about the children. It seemed the story died with John Mac.

John Mack had a fellow researcher with him at the time of his original interviews with the schoolchildren back in 94. Her name is Dominique Callimanopulos, and through some research I have her email/phone number. I am going to reach out to her and see if she might be able to assist in getting in contact with any of the child witnesses.

If she isnt, I'm sure she could point me in the right direction . . or maybe I'll interview her for a podcast to re-live the story.

Mack, M.D. traveled to Zimbabwe with research associate Dominique Callimanopulos to study one of the most extraordinary sightings of a UFO in recent times. At the Ariel School in Ruwa, Zimbabwe, sixty-two children between the ages of eight and twelve reported seeing a UFO and “strange beings” during morning recess.

In 2007, on behalf of the John E. Mack Institute, Dominique Callimanopulos will undertake production of an non-commercial, edited video program presenting John Mack’s interviews with the schoolchildren and faculty.

These interviews constitute one of the most impressive UFO sighting and alien encounter cases in recent history, and serve as an exemplary demonstration of the interviewing skills and sensitivity John Mack exercised when working with people reporting extraordinary experiences.

The goal of producing this video program is to preserve the historical record of this compelling case in a format that can be accessible to students and educators.

The program is being made from original Betacam footage that was shot between November 28 and December 6, 1994.

SO, it seems that she is already on this idea. I still plan on contacting her and tossing out the idea of finding some of the schoolchildren today to recount their memories. .


I have always thought of this sighting as the second most convincing next to Roswell. In some aspects it eclipses it, in my opinion.

Seriously, 1 year after aliens make themsleves known, it wont be a thing anymore, because the mystery would have dissapeared. if they are real, they should stop hiding in the forest and sit with us at the great campfire of life.

It's funny this thread popped up again.. I recently heard a theory about this incident claiming it to be a disinfo test conducted by the US/UK shadow government - they just swooped in with a few anti-grav craft and some aliens suits?? robots?? supposedly there was little interaction with the children but they did see the beings and the craft at fairly close range and there is consistent stories amongst everyone present.

This story has always been ingrained into my mind, one of the most fascinating ones; and one of the most credible.

Its right up there with Rendlesham forest.

I agree. Whenever I hear schoolchildren talk in the U.S. I just think to myself "was I that slow at their age?"


I think they're drugging and poisoning us all into submission.


Watching these bright kids makes me furious at what is being done to those who are hungry, poor, suffering, drugged, fat, depressed, or otherwise abused by the hierarchical control structures that have been established on this planet.

You know, the thing about this case is that it happended in 1994, 13 years ago.

Those kids are adults now.

A lot may have happened in Zimbawe since then, especially to European land owners etc, so I wonder if it would be possible to track down any of them now. Would they still be in the country etc...?

What with being older, they could illustrate what they saw better and have a more measured interpretation of what happened.
