That is the original, unedited image.

I took it a while back just of sky, because i was bored. The object in the bottom right of the photo showed up after it was taken, i just discovered it now when doing a project for my multimedia course

Here is some zooms:

It looks to me to have a typical saucer shape. I'd love for Jritzmann (spelling?) or any of the other analysts to have a look at these for me and see if they can work out if they are just dust or something more.

Thanks. What are your thoughts?

Bottom right hand corner, about an inch in horizontal and vertical. I just posted it in Jritzman's forum as well so i'll see what comes up there.

Foofstarr, this one's odd. Just looked at it in an editor and it's got what looks like two antenna's with a round ball at the end of each, projecting out from the top of it!
Good catch! Will be curious to find out what Jeff R. says about it!

Yeah, i just put it into CS2 and had a look... the 'antennae' seem to be longer than the object itself...

Could be a bug?

Thought Rods have been totally de-bunked as a combination of winged insects and shutter speed for ages now?
Any way, looks more like this, the VRIL 7 - supposed 'Nazi UFO'

*Sigh* Of course I know that.
By 'natural' form I meant it's just a bug.

I know those are obvious questions, but a couple i might not be able to answer... it was a while ago.

Where: East Coast Australia, On a hill (ill provide more specifics in a U2U if it does turn out to be something)

When: Shouldn't the time it was taken be in the data? It would've been mid afternoon on a Tuesday i'm fairly sure, a few weeks ago.

From the exif data: 2007:02:14 11:36:28. Ok, so i was wrong about when i took it. I thought i took it with a bunch of pics outside my university, but maybe i didn't.

I was looking directly up when i took the photo, just was bored and ran out of things to photograph, so i aimed up and pressed the button.

I uploaded the image straight from the SD card, but i think photobucket might shrink them. Is there anywhere that i can upload it that won't change the dimensions? It is an 8mp camera, and it was some crazy 3000x something resolution.

The object wasn't there when i took the photo, so i have no idea what it is etc etc. It isn't something on the lense because i have several photos from before and after i took it of various things that don't have that object in them.

Wow. I'm surprised you actually looked that close. On first glance, I didn't even see that little black speck near the bottom. You really have a keen eye!

Anyway... this looks very authentic to me, but I have no knowledge on UFO's whatsoever. Great catch. Looks saucer-like and in the distance, so I don't think it can be a tick or something on/near the lens.

I'm surprised i found it too. As i said earlier, i was going through all my images for a photography project i'm doing and when i zoomed it in to try to find a nice cloud texture i found the little black object.

That happens to me fairly frequently.

I upload to Flickr, which won't force you to scale down your images, but for free accounts, they will limit your monthly upload volume.

I just had another close look at it, and there is nearly 6 or 7 black objects in the image, which would usually make me think it was dust... except for one thing, some are partially obscured by cloud cover.

One about halfway up on the left edge is clearly in the clouds... Kind of freaking myself out now!

What you see above is all the information contained in this photo. It is presented at 800% with no filtering applied. What you see is what is there.

The noise around this object appears no where else in the image. I have gone over it completely. This noise should not be there.

The most likely is that the object was moving and was too small to cover more than a pixel. When a moving object like a bird or a plane is to small to fill more than one or two pixels you get something like you see in this photo. In fact you get exactly what you see.

My best guess is a bird or a plane far enough away it covered only one or two pixels.

Why would you shoot a shot of the sky with no subject?

Sorry to duplicate what someone else posted

I'm at work and got sidetracked. By the time I posted it was a duplicate effort.
