Airbus A380: First North American Trip

For plane builder Airbus and German airline Lufthansa, the A380's first flight to North America on Monday is a chance to show off the superjumbo to potential U.S. buyers and to the airports they hope will be flight bases for the double-decker jet.

I know that this isn't as exciting as discussions on next generation fighter aircraft, etc; but I thought that this information was worthy of passing on in this forum.

I sure would love to see this aircraft up close. It appears to have some nice lines to it.
