HELP!!! Radio, Scanner, Listening Software Question...

Hey all, I am new to the ATS community and I hope this isn't a subject that has been posted in other threads or answered somewhere I may have overlooked, but I have a question for you all.

Is there any software/programs I could download or buy for my laptop that works like a scanner? I LOVE to listen to AF/ARMY/NASA/POLICE etc.. frequencies and hear what's going on. I would like to have it on my PC rather than going out and buying a seperate scanner. I "heard" there are programs out there that would allow me to put it on my laptop and input up to like 100 different freqs and be able to monitor them from anywhere I can get the net.

I have no idea about this stuff, just hope some of you ATS experts may know of some good stuff.

If your intersted in air traffic you can listen to live tower transmissions from almost ervy major US airport. Also this site is now becoming international
