Who says planes are going to be used? Other forms of attack could be used, this plane activity could be a diversion.

Somehow driving your 1987 Ford Escort Pony hatchback into the side of CNN doesn't send the same message.

(But it does get you a DWI!)

It would make more sense to use something other than planes that the government wouldn't be watching for. It sounds like a perfect diversion, make us all think they are using planes meanwhile they are planting suitcase bombs all over. We would be so busy checking out the airports and airplanes, we wouldn't notice the guy walking down the street carrying a suitcase.

Precisely. If their clever they'll never use the same attack twice in a row. An attack on a more general target would mean forces would have to be broken up more, then full scale attacks could commence because of the smaller forces.

But then, if they're REALLY clever, they will, because people will figure, if they're clever, they wouldn't use the same attack twice.

And remember, the other day they found some mysterious suit cases in DC all over the city. Just because they're focusing on the airports doesn't mean they're niglecting the rest of it.

We could double guess forever.

This is a tricky subjuct. Bin Laden has already said they will strike when we least expect it. Well, nows not that time. We're at Orange for gosh sakes. And, I'd agree that they wouldn't follow the same type of attack twice. Expect something worse than 911 when you least expect it and where you couldn't think it would do the most damage. Something like.... a nuclear plant or infecting the food supply (hmmm, mad cow sure has scared a lot of people and nations...)

This aircraft thing is just a rouse. Keep your eyes out, it's coming and soon.

The news has settled down a bit now, usually things hit the fan when this happens.

You know what we wouldn't expect...If they nuked Afghanistan. Then, WE'D have a lotta esplainin' to do, Lucy, 'cause they could try to frame us. Or they could nuke Iran, which would cause Isreal to have a lotta esplainin' to do...

There are so many 'hotspots' that an attack could take place, its hard to keep track of insignificant news today, that could be important tomorrow.
