Strong Magnetic Field Detected Following Sighting of UFO

There were thunderstorms in the area and it rained for a while late
Friday night. The next morning J used a transit to determine Mrs. A's
sighting line direction from her observation point in the driveway. He then
decided to search the area behind the house to determine whether or not
there was any trace of magnetism left by the UFO. He decided to search for a magnetic field because many years before he had had a UFO sighting which, in his opinion, involved a strong magnetic field.

Nice find misterfantastic The analysis dovetails nicely with efforts being made between the connection of ELF and Abductions and abrupt engine failure which I've been researching for a few months now. Since I lack scientific skills in ELF,ULF, EMP and Electrostatic principles much of my time's been eaten up reading books on it so I may learn a possible connection.

Though I can't say or suggest the info you have brought to ATS for thoughts is in anyway related to abduction, I'm very interested in their investigation methods and analysis. Excellent article.

Interesting link, a good find. I think the story is very credible. A good compass and magnetic field sensing equipment should be part of every UFO field investigator's gear.

it always seems like ufo's are connected with magnetisim or electromagnetism...

ive always thought ufo's use magnets to make them fly. as for how they do it, your guess is as good as mine.

It is very possible, and in my opinion that is the propulsion system used
by the few UFOs that are actualy aerospace craft.

We actually do use Electro-Magentic lift in a propulsion system today,
that is in MagLev (Magnetic Levitation) trains, though they are very
primitive in comparison to an aerospace craft that uses Electro-Magnetic
lift as it's propulsion system.
