In my opinion, prisonplanet is about as good as worldnetdaily.

The source is not prison planet ,PP got it from rense.
The article is by Wayne Madsen

www.waynemadsenreport.com...

A LOT of what Prison Planet posts is not from Prison planet, it's from other sources. Personally I don't care too much for the prison planet articles from the Watsons either. Occasionally they have some good stuff though.

I live in Texas, I'm from Texas, and I sure as Hell don't want to say Bush is from here.

So i should probably stop taking prisonplanet to seriously....I thought alex jones and his followers where truth seekers but lately Ive been hearing he's just there to make people who are skeptic about the "offical" 911 story look like loonies with disinformation about other conspiracys...anywho

Prisonpalnet is a solid alternative news source.

As for 9/11 information - I find that he is very middle of the road - and does not at all champion the fringe views of this event.

His broadcast style though - much like that of Rush Limbaugh - certainly is an aquired taste.

Yes, I've heard of this. There is another thread about it - quoting RENSE or some such 'source'.

I don't believe it for one minute. If Bush (or any POTUS) really was acting all drunk in front of the press corps then they would be having a field day with it in the press. It would be all over CNN, MSNBC .. etc

Oh .. and as far as the Texas vs Connecticut thing ... that makes me
Bush was asked about all that during one of the campaigns and I remember the reporter saying that Bush's response was that Connecticut was his 'dirty little secret'. UGH. (I grew up in Connecticut).

I think history is a poorly taught subject now days.

There was another President and a Texan who spent alot of time intoxicated both as a US Senator and as President.

His name was Lyndon Banes Johnson.

I dont believe drinking Presidents are anything new. Also back then the media did not conduct themselves as do they today....sensationalism at the smallest bit of news for ratings. The media back then had more discretion than today. This is obvious ..othewise the social life of John F. Kennedy and his brothers would have been front page news.

I am not keen on either Rense or Prison Planet for news but I do make note of them on occasion.

I am not intrested in the private lives of the President or the First Lady. I'd rather they were kept private...not on the check out stands at my local pharmacy or such. Shame on the media for this.
It was the same with the private lives of the previous administration. I am not intrested.

I am nauseated by this blonde bimbo who just passed away and dont want to hear or read about her drama either. I dont consider this newsworthy. This same media should get a couple of years sensationalizing her.

Obviously I dont approve of much of the media out there and thier techniques ...local or foreign.

Thanks,
Orangetom

If this were true it'd be career suicide for any mainstream journalist, let alone his editor, to even think about printing it (not to mention a short walk off a tall building)

The press are too controlled by political interests to tackle serious issues, which is why we get endless coverage of Anna Nicole-Smith and which Hollywood starlet is shacked up with which Rock Star etc. Pulp for the masses while the important stuff the people should know, and have a right to know about, are dismissed entirely. Dumbing down on a grand scale.

I often see people dismissing items because they are on sites such as Rense or PrisonPlanet, Propaganda Matrix etc. These sites are news repositories, NOT the actual sources of many stories. Simply dismissing items because they are not reported by the mainstream press is ridiculous, given the censorship by the mainsteam media outlets.
