Collection of alien symbols anyone? (request)

I was reading some stuff I found on the forums which depicted a really old piece of literature from 1400 or some crap like that.

On it was a drawing of a ship, but more importantly was the fact that the writer of it actually drew the symbols which he saw on the ship. Because of this, I got curious and was wondering if anyone has written these down, a collection of them.

I'm just curious, thats all.

Also, the thing I found was some book called 'Ume No Chiri' and was published in 1803.

They look like the matching symbols used in an IQ test. I wonder if there's a correlation in that somewhere?

How so? I'm not really familiar with those (insert joke here).

If you mean by the squares, circles, and triangles, then sure. I can see what you mean.
