Who are the most powerful organized crime "gang" right now?

SEMION MOGILEVICH... LOOK HIM UP.

Involved in drugs, fraud, weapons, even trafficking of nuclear materials. Believed to head the Russian Mafia, despite being in custody for fraud at the moment.
This guy is an international criminal, concerned with activities the world over, with top level government infiltration and influence.
Believed to be behind the Russian/Ukranian gas scandal. Supposedly laundered $5 billion through Bank of New York.

By far the closest thing the world has to a genuine criminal KINGPIN.

I always thought the US Government was a pretty well organized racket. They tax you in way you couldn't even know. All the taxes that go into creating a product let alone selling it and buying it. Then when someone owes us money we go and take it out of their hides with our military. And we tell them it's for their own good, and we tell ourselves the same.

Sounds like a racket ponzi scheme to me.

I've always found it absurd that the IRS has no problem with you not having a job, but the minute you start making money, you "owe" them something?

this question depends on what you mean by gang...do you mean an organized criminal gang or an organized street gang...as there are differences albeit subtle ones....and secondly when you say powerful do you mean who makes the most money...as money = power.....so, let's say you mean organized criminal gang like the 'cosa nostra' or 'russian mafia'.....MS13, crips and the like are unorganized and make nowhere near as much money as these types of organizations. ok, so, there isn't one who is more powerful really as in there respective countries they're obviously the most powerful, the ones who make the most money are the italians, the japs and the south americans...therefore making them the most powerful, the russians are becoming more and more powerful.....the yardies are well down the list mostly used by other criminal organizations to do the dirty work, although still powerful in it's own right. apparantly german organized crime is the new kid on the block.

Very well said my friend! The movie has been out for some time now but have a look at Robert Diniro's "The Good Shepard"! It's just a movie and only scratches the surface of the CIA. Patriots and bad to the bone! Dosen't get any higher then that and it wouldn't surprise me if some of them have their own little space craft in the garage!

If by a criminal organized crime gang you mean:

-An organized group of criminals that extracts money through force or threats of violence.

-An organized group of criminals that controls shipping and trade routes.

-An organized group of criminals that distributes and profits from black-market goods.

The US government would be the largest offender in all of those categories.

Hijacking the government that is SUPPOSED to work for you into working for them.

And the congress says anything that serves the American people is 'politically' impossible?

The Pentagon? Mass murder for hire, oil, all sold on fighting for imaginary things.

Bankers? They launder huge amounts of criminal money.
UBS has an entire MAJOR division DEVOTED to helping people not pay the taxes they owe.

All in all, the US GOVERNMENT is the largest body of organized crime.

They violate the constitution & break their own laws, & then just re-write, bend & twist the laws around their crimes.

Why don't people see this?
Why don't they respond?

Maybe they do & it is covered up by distorting corporate networks.
