What is the future in "THE WAR ON TERRORISM"

I kinda see history repeating itself. Afgans fought the Soviets and look at what happened. The way the Soviets ran their country to the ground and caused the collapse of the USSR. It kinda seems we in the US are heading the same way. Now we are getting pushed by the people we helped do our dirty work. Look at the weaker dollar. The bogus defense budgets. 9-11 started a chain reaction. This "war" is doing more harm to people everywhere than it is helping. Iraq is in a constant balence between becoming a democarcy < sorry for the bad spelling,, or going into civil war.

We have the war profiteers and a lazy/corrupt News Media to thank. The news media failed to inform the populace about real issues that affect us all. JLo , celebrity gossip, and missing pretty blonde white women are not real news.

I hope there is a special place in hell for them.
