Alien found!

They discovered an alien on Mars! It was a microorganism about 1,000th of an inch. It was more of a fossil found on Mars with the alien fossilized in it.

1996 called!

on mars rocks

Yep, in 96.... Then, they later retracted it, saying that they weren't sure about the claim...and that it may not be micro-organisms at all. Since then....the story rather died, without any formal conclusions, just the initial claim, and leaving it unsubstantiated....

We still haven't been told about what Pathfinder found (or didn't find) either, as those tests seem to be unpublished as well.
