This website is ****ing pi**ing me off

I haven't read all the other comments yet, but why didn't you simply send this via complaint? I know that you were obviously annoyed and that's why you started the rant, but circumvention of the censors in the subject line is pretty tacky. :shk:

I don't think this is the answer. I don't mind ads, but the the sound ads are getting a bit annoying. Just when you think everything is fine one of the ads starts to scream about Ipod give aways. The volume on my computer is set normal, but those particular ads have woke up my little ones on a number occasions late at night. And then I did mute the volume. I know that with Google ad sense there is a panel on which you can select not to have certain ads.

On my old computer I never saw these ads and couldn't figure out want people were talking about. I never saw or heard them. Then I get a new computer not to long ago, and now I see and hear them. I know now what the fuss was about.

I am sorry I did not mean to offend, at the moment when I was reading that thread the comments to humbles rant seemed funny to me and that last one was so "high school" I felt a need to comment on it.

I've never seen pop up adds on ATS. Just the sound ones and the Free Game one that freezes my computer every time it comes on.

I had a really bad day yesterday, and when I had visited ATS I was getting the ipod ads every page.

That's why I was so angry.

The one ad that I hate is that blinking ad that says "You won a free laptop". It's all flashin' those bright red white and blue colors. Makes me want to go out and beat up bunny rabbits and smash laptops and stuff.

Don't blame ATS. Don't blame the ads. Blame all the morons out there that actually click on them because they want a talking smiley or think they can win a free iPod. The only reason those ads exist is because they are statistically profitable. Meaning some people are actually enticed by that crap and will buy what is being advertised.
