Can some direct me to a thread about how to join the ATS team? I see where to get the program and install it, but I don't want to do that unless I
know I am doing it right. Feel free to u2u me, anyone that can give me the advice. Thanks
i'm not active currently, but was crunching for seti 8 years ago and had a pretty impressive standing. then i moved, seti couldn't keep up with mac
software and poot, i was out.
i'll see if they are caught up again today, and try to re-up.
(if there's a team for ats i'd be into joining. -- i didn't read all the posts here so apologies)

I've been active for the past 5 years or so, so I've racked up some nice numbers. For a while there, I had two computers running numbers, so it was
good then. Prolly will again here soon. Looking forward to seeing aliens pop up on my Seti@home screen here soon.
I've been running Set@home since, jeez, 1999. Running on several different Macintosh computers, right up to the present using BOINC. Many, many,
many, many, many thousands of hours credit. Don't know if my computers have "discovered" anything thus far, but they sure as hell should
have, after 8 years participation.
I've been a member of the ATS team at seti@home since last August (2006). I run the program on my laptop so I don't have as much speed or number
crunching ability as a lot of others but I still have racked up around 12,000 points and am happy just to contribute and help out. Don't know why I
never posted here before but better late then never, right?
Been a member since, oh, mid-'99 or so. About 65,000 hours pre-BOINC (classic), and recently hopped on to the ATS team (better than going it
alone).
Anyway, glad to be in with y'all. Hopefully it will be one of US here at ATS that will finally get the ET equivalent of "...come here, Dr. Watson.
I need you...".
Keep crunching, girls and boys. Our day will come...
BTW - in case anyone here wants to check it out, here's our SETI ATS Team
link.
