Water is becoming a scarce resource around the world. The drying up of aquifers and lakes, rivers being irrigated to depletion or the depletion of lakes or inland seas.
Some have predicted that in the future water will out price gold and iron, oil, gas and all the other of those precious minerals.
could there be though, a war fought for the possession of a water source, such as that of the wars of territory today and in the past?

Doubtful. Desalinating sea water isn't terribly expensive... just not economical when there's plenty of fresh water to tap.

I guess I'll stay near the Great Lakes! Yikes! Southwest US on low on Water. China polluting every river they have, I won't even mention India and Bangladesh! Yuk!

I'll take the snow and cold for clean fresh water!
