NEW YORK -- Gamblers in the United States were lining up Tuesday for their chance to win an estimated 370 million dollars in the world's biggest ever lottery jackpot.
The Mega Millions top prize has now rolled over 15 times without a winner, with the most recent draw last Friday promising a relatively modest 267 million dollars.
But snowballing sales of tickets have ramped up the jackpot and in turn sparked further interest in the draw, with the one-in-176-million chance of picking the winning six numbers apparently not putting people off.
