We passed 300,000 posts and...

No one noticed. What a riot! It happened some time earlier today. 1,000 points to the first person who posts the link to the correct page of the correct thread with post number 300,000.

I noticed!

I commented that if there had been a contest to estimate the time of the 300,000th post, I would have won it (and fought for the prize tooth and nail).

Great milestone a couple of days back, and a good way of announcing it today!

1,000,000 doesn't seem that far down the ATS track as of now.

I celebrate with a giant ass smiley!

BTW the Post ID# is well over 305000 so it makes me wonder whether we are going to be searching the same reference points in the database?!

if you could "search" by post numbers!

Hold the search.... the post # calculation is off a bit.

I have now narrowed it down to when the post happened.
Just to find it.....

4.35am to 4.40am on 19/12...

Okay go. Since we delete some posts in the database, I need to convert the post id-number in the db, to the actual post-count... the post id-numbers are well over 320,000. Okay, find me post 300,000!

finding alot of 29999- through 300020ish, but nothing in between...

BTS posts haven't been renumbered. I fear our elusive post may be lurking there (here)...

I know close only counts in horseshoes, hand gernades, and thermo-nuclear warfare... but does post number 300003 count for anything? (by K-OS on the terror level orange thread).

All I can say is congrats. WHat I'm thinking is something else, though
