A Dangerous Biodefense Path [under the guise of Homeland Security]

www.thebulletin.org

Is the United States close to violating the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention (BWC)? At thefifth annual American Society of Microbiology (ASM) Biodefense Conference in Washington, D.C., in February, Bernard C. Courtney, scientific director of the Department of Homeland Security's National Biodefense Analysis & Countermeasures Center, described how the U.S. government is building a network of laboratories to characterize and anticipate future biothreats, as well as conduct biological risk assessments. Doing evil in defense of good is still evil. Something this administration has never understood. Doing something at all costs usually ends up costing your integrity.

Like doing 9/11. Those who carried it probably thinks it was for the good cause, to stop Saddam, or to wage war against ``turrists``. This is how those people thinks.

I've been watching any news on smallpox for quite awhile and it would not surprise me if it is used on the next "9-11". The US government has been bidding on 3 different smallpox vaccines makers recently, all foreign.

It doesn't quite add up as to why the government would be offering up million dollar contracts to prevent something that hasn't existed in over 30 years???
