Yessir. This is to give strategic strike capabilities to the carrier groups when GW decides to launch the Neverending Iran a.k.a. Enduring Iranian Freedom campaign.

It is kind of scary that there are that many naval assault groups out on the open seas, but I guess when you are as paranoid as the U.S. is, the number is well justified.
