The Title of this International Herald Tribune story is so Ironic
The BBC is converting all of their material to digital format, what a strange coincidence to losing the tapes from 9/11.

On Advertising: BBC creeping toward commercialism
www.iht.com...

"YouTube is a key gateway through which to engage new audiences in the U.K. and ABROAD," said Mark Thompson, Director-General of the Broadcaster, in a statement.

From the article: Though analysts described the move as a modest step for the BBC, given that only clips, and not full shows, will be available on YouTube, they said it could alter perceptions of the BBC, which recently won a renewal of its charter — though with significantly less public funding than it had sought.

Yeah. Looks like they are going towards commercialism more then they were before. They should capatalize on this marketing goal because youtube is very good at promoting products-- however I do not see how this has to do with 9-11. This has very limited relation to 9-11 and this should be on a different board, I see nowhere in the article anything about 9-11. And, that they just talk about promoting marketing goals, that's all they say!
