Dawn of the Dead, without a frickken doubt. It's a classic, I mean, c'mon..
That's the movie that inspired me to even think about being in the movie industry..

I agree,Dawn of the Dead was a good movie.
I was rather dissapointed in his Land of the Dead though.

I also agree with Dawn Of The Dead. It's an awesome movie. One of my favorite horror movies. Night Of The Living Dead is also a really good movie.

It's seemed like the end, and wasn't as good as it could have been.

Dawn, and Night were much better.

Of course I Like em' all(Zombie) Shawn of the Death
The English one(Can't think the name), even though George had nothing to do with them other than inspiration.

I'm actually going to college to become a film producer, and when I claim my title i'm going to make some Zombie movies.. I also had an Idea in my head about a Zombie, Vampire mix.. I'll give you a brief plot.. The last vampire, as much as we know that is, is bloodthirsty in his city.. He completey drains the blood of his victims and then burns them, so they don't come back and convert.. His reason? You'll just have to wait
.. Suddenlly, there's reports of small gangs in the city reaking havoc. People die, people change, people realize. This vampiers last chance at survival is to help his victims, and become allies. But as the movie progresses, he becomes weaker due to the lack of blood, and soon he is exposed to the "disease" as well.. There is a reason why he wants to survive, i'll tell ya later

What does the good people of ATS think? I was inspired by Night of The Living Dead, and The Last Man On Earth..

I'll give joint first place to Day Of The Dead and Creepshow.

An honorary mention should go to Martin as well.

And yes, Land of... was a piece of #! You can tell Romero played it safe with the hope the studio would be satisfied and would greenlight other flicks which is fair enough, but disappointing never the less.

Am I the ONLY person in this world who doesn't like Romero?

I'm sure you're not, but why don't you like his films (I presume you mean his movies and not the man himself lol)?

I don't know, I rather liked Land of the Dead. I just wished they had Tom Savini as special effects, instead of CG. I've seen worse zombie movies. Try watching Children of the Dead, or "ZombieZ"... Horrible flick.

lol no I don't have anything against the man himself. I don't know really, I just never got into them I always found them a bit silly (but maybe I was missing a point?) I think it's just a case of random hatred like kids with peas

In my opinion Night of the Living Dead was his greatest work.
