ive been having an unusal experiance with our tv and baby monitor, at certain points in the day, almost exclusiivly at night, our baby monitor goes into a short distintive wierd interfearance pattern. Its not my kids crying or scratching the walls or any thing like that. Its a very distinctive interferance with the signal, and its the same pattern/sound every time, ive only heard it on my tv 2-3 times but its on the baby monitor a couple of times a week. I know that it sounds like that movie "signs" but its what im hearing, its not talking or chatter like on that movie, just a wierd pattern/sound exatly the same every time.

Im an electrician and voltage spikes or drops wouldnt cause this, a spike or drop on my service would cause the lights to brighten or dim accordingly, and none of that has happened.

Not saying this is a ufo but then again i have no idea any insight would be helpfull!

thanks

Maybe a plane that passes your house at that time each night? ,no?

I'm not sure about newer baby monitors, but the ones from a few years ago operated around 49mhz. The newer ones may operate at 900mhz, or even 1.2ghz. These bands are all shared by other consumer radio products like cordless phones, walkie-talkies, alarm systems, and so on. It could be some other device at a nearby house causing the interference.

On a slightly different topic, someone on the disclosure project video alleged that is was our microwave radar systems that brought down the Roswell UFO. He alleged that the microwave signal from the ground-based radars interfered with their propulsion system some how...

I hope that you're not receiving a visitor every night and that its just common RF interference.

We get 3 pulses in groups of 3 that come thru my PC speakers and the radio sometimes... It seems to happen most when our cell phones are in close proximity. It'll also happen sometimes before receiving an incoming call. I've also had it happen to my car radio. In my case I think it's just radio interference... it's like dert,dert-dert,... dert,dert-dert,... dert,dert-dert...

Can you describe the pattern you hear?

Pretty close to that, but never with an incoming cell phone call

I used to keep a compass on our nightstand, just in case

If you're worried about a UFO hovering over your roof it should make the compass bug-out.

For fun you could always record the pulses, then broadcast them out over the baby monitor and see what happens...
..., um maybe not.

Interesting. I'd turn off your cells tonight (if that's an option) or just keep them in a room far from the devices you pick up the signal on. Then see if you still receive it.

Of course i'm assuming this is related to the tranceiving power/frequency of your cell phones. It may be completely unrelated. I'm just trying to eliminate a common culprit. If you remove all RF devices from the equation and you're still picking it up on a regular basis, and you have no close neighbors... I'd really be perplexed. What frequency does the baby monitor use? Do you live in the country or in the city?...

OUt in the country in an acreage development, so their are other houses out here but not any that are close like in town, usually are cells are in a differnet room, I think my wife keeps hers out in her car.

Is your tv set by cable or satellite transmission? Do you have a vcr attached to it? Have you made all your connections properly? If you have a satellite tv system was it properly installed? For example is the dish facing correctly and has the software been properly configured?

If it is normal antenna on roof is it in good condition? Is the cable in good condition and properly fitted into tv?

If you got local cable tv is the box functioning properly or has anything been abused?

Do you have any devices next to the tv such as microwave oven, radios, computers, phones, metallic objects, etc? If so make sure they are some distance away! Also, any wifi or bluetooth network in your house?

There are probably many reasonable explanations if you stop and think a while. What I have noticed with my satellite tv system is that when there is heavy cloud coverage in the area I temporarily lose the signal for a few seconds or even minutes. Also, solar flare activity is known to cause temporary signal distortion and interuption.

I would check this stuff out before starting to get paranoid. Also, ask your neighbors if they are having similar problems!

As I said in my original post only happened to the tv 2-3 times mostly occoring on our baby monitor, This is a newer house, no microwve on the tv, and when it rains or heavy cloud cover yes we sometimes loose signal, but thats not what im talking about.

this is a regular occorence at night, so I dont think its solar flares since the sun is on the other side of the earth at the time and i dont think they happen at or around the same time 3-4 times a week

Since most of the interference is occuring on the baby monitor then the first thing I would do is read the baby monitor manual. Probably for some reason/s it is more susceptible than a normal tv but I don't know why.

Does your mobile and/or computer have bluetooth or some other local networking capabilities and are you using them too close to the baby monitor? Check this out!

If you think the intereference source is external then again the culprits could be many. Do you live close to any military bases or government facilities? Are there any microwave transmitters nearby? Antennas?

Talk to your neighbors and explore the possibilities! The last thing i would consider is ufo interference!!!!!!!!

The RB-47 radar visual multiple witnesses cases, July 17, 1957:

An Air Force Boeing Stratojet reconnaissance jet RB-47, equipped with electronic countermeasures gear and manned by six officers, was followed by an unidentified object for a distance of well over 700 miles, and for a time period of more than one hour, as it flew from Mississippi, through Louisiana and Texas and into Oklahoma. The object was, at various times, seen visually by the cockpit crew as an intensely luminous light, followed by ground-radar and detected on ECM monitoring gear aboard the RB-47. Of special interest in this case are several instances of simultaneous appearances and disappearances on all three of those physically distinct observation channels, and rapidity of maneuvers beyond aircraft possibilities.

It doesnt have to be incoming calls.. its when your mobile is redetecting what cell it is in also. For instance, cell detection, when it locates the closest network cell to communicate with.

Do you have the ability to see 'where you are' on your phone - what suburb, etc - same thing is happening.. and thats all that is, so turn your mobile off and it will stop.

probly already been mentioned, but crazy guys, its impossible to not know that.. lol

I am told that they can create high frequency pitches and distort transmission in any electromagnetic field. They can "alter energy" easily.
