Nope sorry! I don't watch all of those new sciencefiction series. Battlestar Gallactica was the bomb when I was a kid. Buck Rogers came in second. Still have to watch the Lord of the Ring-trilogy too. Boy, time surely flies!

Buck Rogers was awesome.....

Two words.....

Wilma Dearing.

Of course, Buck was still an idiot for not taking Ardalla and ruling the galaxy with an iron fist... What an idiot???

Tweekie would've been spaced though, hehe.....

Yeah...I'm there. I watch only NG, too bad they don't make any new episodes.

The name of the song was "Minstrel Boy." You can find a good version of it on the Blackhawk Down Soundtrack.

It was an old Irish folk song - The Minstral Boy

I like the old school StarTrek, especially their movies.

TNG is pretty good, but Spike tv plays 6 episodes a day and it seems like they play all the ones from last week!

In small doses, I am also a fan of Dr. Who, Battlestar Galactica, MST3K, Godzilla, Quantum Leap, and some other oldschool cult ones....am I nerd? lol

I'm definately a hardcore TNG fan. I just order the entire series on dvd! I can hardly wait for them to arrive! If I watch 5 episodes a day, I can watch the entire series in a month!

Yes I also loved the next generation my two favorite episoodes were 'inner light" and the one where they kept blowing up. Kelsey Grammar had a cameo in that one playing the captain of the ship the enterprise kept running into. I loved the continuity in Inner Light the fact that picard was shown playiong the ressican flute in several later episodes.

Count me in.
TNG was the first Star Trek series I watched, I later saw DS9, i'm now watching the second season of Voyager.
I really liked DS9 (specially the last seasons when they focused on the Bajoran/Cardassian/Dominion stuff, the prophecies, etc..) but I'll never forget the poetry of Picard's constant amazement at the wonders of the Universe, that's what got me in the first place... Patrick Steward is the best actor to play a Starfleet Captain ever, by far...
Let's trek up this place.

I'm no trekkie but I loved TNG, although I thought the first season was a bit rough around the edges. There was some amazing stories in the TNG series, including the brilliant finale.

I think Picard was the best Captain.

Which Captain is your favourite, people?
