Anybody here have tips on how to see a ghost, in person or whatever, without really making a scene?

My great-grandma says she has this ghost named "Harvey" that has traveled with her forever. In an old house he used to play the piano, turn on a toy train, open/close doors, and once my uncle laid down and put his hand on his pillow and he heard a voice say "Get your hand off my head"

Anyways, she says he's still with her now. I have a little cousin, probably 6 or 7, and we were at her Apartment once and he went to go to the bathroom, my Great Grandma's room is across the hall from the Bathroom, and her door was open. He came back and said something to my dad like "there's a guy with red eyes in the room" or something to that effect.

My cousin who lives with her says she hears footsteps in her room.

I was just wondering if you guys have tips on seeing ghosts? I ALWAYS feel his presence in the Bathroom, it just feels very awkward and quite scary/freaky. I don't want my family to think i'm 'too' into seeing him, just for the sake of keeping normalcy with them (talking about him already got my sister to start sleeping with the light on again
)

Anywho, tips? Anyone?

Keeping an open mind is a start to seeing things,

But i would say if you get a bad feeling about a pressance then stay well clear, Not all ghosts are casper...

Your grandmother probably has a guardian spirit,
And i believe we all have these.

There are many ways to contact them,

But i also believe you should research things before you try and call up spirits and such...

You say you get a freaky feeling in the bath room!
How old is your house?
Maybe do some reserch on the history of the house...
ect...
Has anyone else in your family had a strang feeling in the bath room?

I was talking about in my Great grandma's bathroom. That's the only room other than the living room that i've been in there, I think. I haven't really asked anyone if they feel weird in the bathroom.. It's probably just me anticipating more than anything else.

ohh i see, I read through it a little to quickly

Intresting story though! Think it would scare me half to death if i heard a ghost talk lol,

and more so if it said " Get your hands of my head"
I would be running

Okay, if you want to "meet" with a spirit, you have to make it known that you mean no evil to the spirit. Welcome it. Respect it, and ask that it also respect you and your family. Unless the spirit makes you feel threatened in a severe way, there's no reason to fear it. Welcome it into your home.

I personally have quite a few spirits in and around my home. Most reside in my own bedroom, since that is my "temple" or "sanctuary". No evil energy is permitted to enter. They feel safe there.

I woke up to a ghost once, tall boots long ankle length black jacket tall black hat, white face with half a smile on it, he was talking but i couldnt hear it. When i mentioned it to my then bf, he described him to a T before i even told him what he looked like. Anyways it freaked me out. He was as physical as you or i, i actually thought this guy had broken into my apt. at the time, then *poof* he was gone. I think i hid under my covers until i fell asleep early in the morning it was bright out as well so the light was coming thru my windows and i could see his every detail.

Your point? LoL what makes me a fruitcake, anyway? The fact that I'm a bit "different"? Hmm? I believe something that you don't, therefore I'm crazy, eh?
