And in the case of a child that went missing four years ago.....she declared him to be dead.

Oops. Shawn Hornbeck was found alive recently.

She has lost all credibility as far as this little faux pas goes....and others.

One thing i did find out is that when people go to Montel and she gives them answers she also suggests (off the show) that they email her...AHA!
Some have paid as much as $700 for a follow up session.

Charlatan.

So keeping the thread and its title in this forum is somehow dis-associating Sylvia Browne? As long as its here and visible...she's associated.

No, by having it here on ATS it shows that we think that she is full of it, and do not want to be associated with her in any way, but your right there is a limit to beating a dead horse or strange looking woman like Sylvia.

Also I agree she probably got wind of Springer's Documentary on the discovery channel and is trying to associate herself in some manner. She is a publicity monger, the more her face is shown the more she can charge an hour.

She is full of crap. Apparently, if you talk up a big game, a lot of people will "believe" in what you're saying.

Hah - she should work for the Govt.!

Her talent is extraordinary!

Sylvia Brown is sooo full of it. I mean c'mon man, all her wrong "predictions" are just nuts. I could have a better success rate by just flipping a coin for my answers. Someone like her being in on it only does more to undermine the credibility of the O'Hare sighting. This thread needs to be here because Debunking Sylvia Brown=Denying Ignorance doesn't it? $700 for 20 minutes give me a break, you can see right there she's a fake by using her "powers" to make herself rich off of people who're suffering. This type of emotional vampirism kinda makes me sick. But then I remind myself that if there are people that are still stupid enough to pay her they deserve to have their money taken from them. In short Sylvia is a crock and she has no buisiness dealing with UFO's. (as if we don't have enough problems already in the field of Ufology)

Yes, IMO she is such a fraud. I was listening to the Live Coast to Coast show that night when she was on talking about the miners and I caught what she said immediately. She played it off so slick to. The show date for C2C to hear it if your a streamlink member is Tuesday January 3rd, 2006.

However, if you want to read the log you can here. Sylvia Caught

I think being able to hear the tone of the conversation really puts things in better perspective.

She also said that the miners in West Virginia were alive when they were dead last year.

Edit: Guess someone already caught that one. Guess I'll need to read the entire thread before posting next time.

The word "confirms" just doesn't work me. As if we needed to inflate the giggle factor....

The O'Hare UFO is a fake.

I base this on the pseudo fact that Sylvia Brown is obviously using reverse logic, yes is no, left is right and right is left. Therefore, if she says its real it can't be

Oh dear its not looking good

Famous Psychic Sylvia Brown talked about the O'Hare Ufo on the Montel Williams show. A guest brought up a UFO subject, she had a Ufo encounter and Sylvia said it was a genuine UFO and then she remarked on the O'hare ufo saying "come one people this is real"

That's like the equivalent of having George Bush confirm the location of Waldo.

And honestly, you need verification from that fraud to know it was a UFO?

HA! I SAYS!

President Bush found Waldo on every page but then, when pressed to prove that he had located the elusive scarf clad hat wearer Bush responded, initially, by stammering something about national security, nucular threats and the need to first listen to the author and illustrators phone conversations before deciding to release the information that he had.

After a lengthy period of time, and after some serious digging into the junk mail and spam of several thousand american citizens, President Bush backtracked on his announcement of an Accomplished Mission in finding Mr. Waldo. Said Mr. Bush "I, uh, we, well, we uh, hehe I said "That Waldo sure is an Accomplished Musician" and I uh don't know what the big fuss is. We had the intelligence but it seems we lost it and uh, well, we're without intelligence and uh, heheh, so I uh we uh they uh well, we don't know if Waldo ever even existed and well, it's unclear at this time and (in a whisper to Cheney - could you shoot someone in the face or something?) well, uh, so uh, well Waldo hasn't been found but rest assured, I will not rest until I find that drawing."

Has Sylvia been right about... anything impressive? I'm actually curious about this; how many times out of say, ten, does she get something right? Is there any unbaised website that might have tallied it?

Forget Sylvia Browne, we can learn to do what she does and even better! Lol...

I started a thread in Skunk Works today to see if members here would be interested in learning how to do Remote Viewing. I would like to learn how to do this myself so if anybody is interested, please click on the link below for more information on this ..

if she actually had any real powers she should locate all the missing photos and footage.

If Sylvia Browne said it, it must be true!

NOT!

If anything this statement makes me even more skeptical of the entire O'Hare sighting phenomenon.

She doesn't ask anyone to believe in what she is saying, but I gotta say alot of people wanna know what she's thinking or she wouldn't be as popular as she is. I believe she was/is right not because of her popularity, but that things that we do...every decision..changes the way events run in our lives. For instance, taking a bus instead of a cab, could change "a future". What if that cab ended up in a wreck and the driver died..but you didn't because you decided to take the bus ..
I think she was right about seeing the missing boys dead..but something happened that changed that outcome of their lives. But it's a free world, you choose what you want to believe.

Hey, Sylvia's as psychic as I am.

My prediction: As of tomorrow, I, too, will make $700 for 20 minutes worth of nothing.

See? I rest my case.

I also remember her saying "Al Gore will definitely be the next president". I don't think that she got that one right either...did she?

Oh dear. As a psychic the woman is obviously a total flop.
I mean you'd think on the 2 multiple choice questions, e.g is he dead or alive?
that she would get it right with odds of 50-50. If you add psychic powers on top of the process of probabitlity and deduction.
Even in a horse race with 2 horses, she'd get it wrong.
Who would pay that much money for her advice? Crazy!
