Yep, I am the nearest residence that is occupied to the I-4/I-75 interchange (malfunction junction). The house pictured with plywood would actually
be the closest if someone lived there.
Rt 35 is a terrible road on a good day it seems. I am not sure why that stretch is so bad but it is.
The precipitation has been steady but one cannot appreciate how bad it actually is because it isn't snow but countless micro sized ice balls.
The scene looks about the same at 2 am here, but there is 3 or 4 inches of little tiny ice balls covering everything. (think of it as a dry slurpee
from 7-11)
Anyway, if we start to get a good blanket of snow I shall take some new pics tomorrow morning and post them.
Stay warm yourself there. I have some beverages to make me toasty, if you know what I mean.
