Great midwest snow extravaganza thread!

I just went to work and found out it is closed - closed through Thursday morning! Hurray for me, I have a bunch of free time but I will be hurting come payday.

.....but I thought since we here in Ohio are in the midst of a level 3 snow alert and we are half way through it, I thought why not post current pics and conditions and anyone else with 2007 snow pics and winter weather go ahead and post yours here as well.

Dayton, OH. Feb 13 ~4pm:

Right on Ben! I to am in Dayton Ohio! (Greene County) side .. still snowing right now, but Wright State and Sinclair are closed! I guess some poor girl died on rout 35 during a storm last year, so they are going to close college campuses like they would any normal high school or something? Anyways, I am going to take a guess by the picture that the road there is either 75 or 4?

Yep, I am the nearest residence that is occupied to the I-4/I-75 interchange (malfunction junction). The house pictured with plywood would actually be the closest if someone lived there.

Rt 35 is a terrible road on a good day it seems. I am not sure why that stretch is so bad but it is.

The precipitation has been steady but one cannot appreciate how bad it actually is because it isn't snow but countless micro sized ice balls.

The scene looks about the same at 2 am here, but there is 3 or 4 inches of little tiny ice balls covering everything. (think of it as a dry slurpee from 7-11)

Anyway, if we start to get a good blanket of snow I shall take some new pics tomorrow morning and post them.

Stay warm yourself there. I have some beverages to make me toasty, if you know what I mean.

Woke up this morning to find another layer of snow in the parking lot where I live... my little cavalier could hardly make it! 675 was not even shoveled yet (at 9:30 am!)

Wish I could post pictures of my parking lot where the drifts caused me to get trapped lol...
