I'm wondering if anyone on this board has experienced full completion of the kundalini experience from the base of the spine, all the way up, and re-looped back down. And if so, do you have complete control over it and can you raise some-one else's kundalini by though alone, i.e. shakti-pat?

First of all, I have never heard of kundalini, but it sounds interesting. Is it some kind of meditation? You say it has a course, but I am not sure how I would go about doing or completing this kundalini.

Would like to know more about it? I do meditate by sitting quietly and shutting everything out, until I am interrupted, or disturbed.

It is a profound mystical/spiritual experience that leaves the person changed for life. It is very intense and very few go through it. I was simply wondering if there were people on here who went through the ordeal.

Do a google search for "kundalini" and you'll learn allot more than I can tell you about it.

Hey

I have experienced kundalini yoga... it didnt leave me changed for life, more like for about 5 minutes. I have 2 different procedures on how to do it but once I did it I felt energy moving up my body, I could feel what felt like a small breeze of cold air/wind coming out from the top of my head, and I also felt a feeling of peace and serenity accompanied with a complete silence of thoughts/innervoice... For about 5 minutes I had no thought in mind just a constant "Om" sound it was absolutely bliss, I dont know why it only lasted 5 minutes though

yes, but the surges of 'electricity' were more like waves,
yes, it flows from our prehensil tail, the base of spine, upwards to the brainstem....
but It, the kundalini fire, did not seem to 'loop back' it rather began anew at the start of ones spine.

the waves of electricity lasted for an unknown duration...one seems caught up in the experience, but not in any sort of ecstatic delirium,
in fact once i even counted the ongoing waves of tingling that undulated up my spine....thinking that at least 5 waves had already passed, i counted 21 more waves of kundalini fire.

but, i reckon that even as i was experiencing this 'reward',
it crept into my inner thoughts that '?What If this doesn't Stop?'

...in a sense, i was both covetous and anxious, wanting the experience to continue to see how long it would sustain it's full force...but anxious that i could possibly be incapicated in life as these waves of kundalini orgasims seem to become all consuming, leaving ordinary life a distant concern.

meditating with breathing, also mentally chanting a mantra, are 2 ways i used to attain that ?self-hypnotic? state.
and in the several experiences i've had, i can't say that the 'I' or 'self' has control, i can't even say that 'I' ended the sessions.
..it seems more like a 'higher power' divies out how much & when a kundalini experience is presented to us.

I imagine that a master could could raise a kundalini in someone else, like a healer can or a shaman can interact with a patient...i've never seen or personally known/heard of it happening like that.

the above is the best subjective recounting i can make,
i guess its like the phrase, "You had to have been there"

Mybe i have a collateral effect on my chest but i remember nothing.
I have some spots which are broken capillaries and further the normal explanation: when I was child, during a summer i didn't protect much from the sun, could be a collateral effect of an unintentionally kundalini experience.

I would doubt that anyone on this board has experienced kundalini. Someone who spends their free time on ATS or any website for that matter discussing aliens and conspiracies probably isn't going to be having an awakening of the kundalini. I beleive that it is quite a rare event and reserved for only those who minds are clear and have practiced for many years perfecting the art of the kundalini yoga. I think that If someone were to have experienced an awakening of the kundalini I truly believe that they would no longer have a use for the ATS or a computer for that matter. Although it is said to be a very traumatic experience I believe it is ultimately a beautiful and enlightening experience.
I myself have taken a few Kundalini Yoga classes with a guru whose presence made me feel something that I could not explain, it was a very powerful experience. I would recommend taking a kundalini yoga class for anyone who is interested in this topic.

Thank you for your judgment, but obviously you have no idea what you are talking about. Good day sir...

You do not need to take a class to feel the kundalini, it is a natural process in every human if they are open to it.

Only those who wish it to happen in their hearts will find it. If you are not open to new possibilities you will not be one of them.

Good luck on your spiritual quest dominicus, may the light guide you.

biggiesmalls,
I totally agree with you.
It can happen to anyone, but they have to want it in thier heart and also know what it is they are seeking. True one doesn't have to take a class to experience Kundalini, but I feel some guidance is helpful.
Biggie, Have you yourself experienced it? Could you share your thoughts on the experience if you have.
ps sorry for the quick judgements, I have become quite jaded with the ATS boards lately.

Peace
JK

JKLight420, it is ok...

No I am not fully awakened, but have definately begun my process. If you are searching for such ideas you are probably on the steps yourself. Good luck brother as you are realizing we are not humans having a spiritual experience, but spirits having a human experience.

Not so far now!

Whoa biggie!

"we are not humans having a spiritual experience, but spirits having a human experience." and it really stuck in my head, I wrote it on sticky and put it on my desk to remember, Then here you are reitterating it to me! So true and inspiring!
Thanks

well kundalini is a form of tantric meditation and yoga.

As a previous poster rightly said you should go to a class. The reason for this is than many many meditative and especially tantric practices by their very nature are very powerfull and complicated. It is not a process to "read" from a book then practise like all serious spiritual or yogic development a teacher is needed to guide the person based on their Karmic and Cittic qualities. Some people will be ready for the next stage some not and it takes someone who has experianced the path themselves through the teachings of another to be able to guide safely someone else.

This form of tantric practice is veiwed upon in the East as being very bad that the information has passed to the west and is not being passed on properly and many people can find themselves in a worse position mentally, physically and spiritually if they "read and lift" this practice from book or website.

As tantric Yoga is the highest form of yoga that is possible and involves bring the normal private spiritual practice and experiances into the real world and evry day reality through living it at all times (the meaning of tantra is this or more correctly transformation through the path itself, the path is the reality we live in at all times and in all things) this makes the practice very dangerous to the practitioners lives and their families if they are not guided properly.

As stated too this is the highest form of yoga and meditation so therefore like the masters who teach it now it is very very very advisable to spend many years first stabilising your meditation and practise on simle sitting mediation and yoga first. You dont attempt a Ph.D in chemistry without high school first? no? carefull all before you blow your lab up! (your mind !)

Regards

love and light to all

could a personal experience be this Kundalini effect?

From a young age (7-8 y.o) i've every so often experenced a strange 'electrical discharge' sensation..it usually starts in my lower body and feels like a build-up of static or something similar...this sensation builds in intensity like a capacitor charging, and then *whoom* i get a jolt of 'electricity' (for wont of a better name) that shoots up and branches out through my body along my whole nervous system and leaves me with a strange icy-cold feeling throughout my whole body.

I'd mentioned this to various doctors over the years but only got a puzzled shrug and a 'its nothing to worry about'

anyone any ideas??

Hey Citizen,
I get that all the time, I have been for many years. It's kind of like chills that start at the base of the spine. I always wondered what it was because I was the only person I knew who had the same experiences
If we are talking about the same thing I would definitely say it is not The kundalini effect. The unraveling of the root chakra is an unmistakable experience yet tough to define. I truly believe that it is something that must be achieved, as opposed to a random incident.

Something that changes your perspective on yourself.

to fully experience the moment, to gain ultimate insights to become a master of yourself, to experience paranormal phenomenons, to awaken to what your really truly are.

to heal

to grow to conquer the mind.

to become a master, an insightfull and experienced human being, all knowing,

To become his son.. !

I think some posters are making too big a deal of it, like it's the Force or something....

just think of it as a heightened state of awareness and energy and pleasure. You can achieve it by various means - meditation, yoga, hypnosis, tantric sex (my personal favorite!)

it's not some heavy-duty religion as some posters make it out to be.... just a practice that's good and healthy for mind body and spirit.

Perhaps JK if you diligently studied the works of some of our members you could obtain a glimpse of the passion for truth and obvious compassion for their fellow members. Beware of so swiftly judging, as you may find yourself judged by your own words.

Dominicus, yes I have experienced a spontaneous raise of Kundalini, it lasted on and of for several weeks. I know this is unusual.
I have never touched drugs, and was not attending a "yoga" class thus no external pressure caused it.

JK Light,
I would have to argue with you that in the event that some-one has truly attainted a full blown Kundalini explosion or spiritual Enlightenment of any form, that doesn't mean they wouldn't be on ATS posting. I think you'd be surprised at the types of people who frequent these boards and post.

Not only that, in the advent of the complete kundalini explosion and other enlightenment, the individual goes through "ego death" and is left but a shell of his/her former self. Still, in order to continue operating in this reality, they are forced to use remaining fragments of that ego to function.....and if some of those former fragments liked to go on ATS and post/interact, then I see no problem with that kind of situation, hence making your preconcieved speculation an after-thought when we consider the possibilities.

.........
I think there may be some on here that have the ability to raise anothers kundalini be sheer willpower. We don't need to imagine a Guru who is admired by thousands when it is a reality that there are kids being born that can manipulate this energy source.
