From my previous post a must see video.

There is a god of the universe. Civilizations rice and fall with the changes of the ages. There is a divine presence in the universe. When the age turns civilizations rise and fall, this is a fact, they don't want you to know. Bible prophecy comes true because they, whoever wrote the bible knew this. Revelations directly relates to the changing of the ages. The next coming change is dec 21, 2012, but it is not the date, it is the actual event we have to watch for. We will not know the day or hour this event happens. The alignment that is. In revelations, "I come as a thief". This is what this means. The alpha and omega. Beggining and end. The snake eating the tail.

This is what the bible means when it says war broke out in heaven. The ancients knew this. This is why they were so into the heavens. There is something really to this. I have done some homework and matched the dates of rising falling civilzations. They match perfectly to the changing of the zodiac.

Rich, excuse me if I am just being ignorant, but where exactly is the passage:
"God stands in the congregation of the mighty:He judges among the gods"

Is it suppose to be Psalm 8? I checked a few different versions but could not find it.

Its Psalm 82:1. This is Psalm 82:6

6I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

This is in Psalm 8

5 You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings [c]

Psalm 82:6 pretty much says they are henotheistic.

How is that henotheistic he said I have called ye gods, a nickname?

He said you aren't godly so your called gods but you aren't a god.

Didn't you just deny the existence of one holy God or technically question that, aren't you being kind of contradictorily in the sense that you deny him than glorify his riotousness and honesty if one thing he says is real why would hw tell you the truth on one subject and lie on another?

Brother, you are thinking about this wrongly.

Consider this:

H20 (water) is a signle entity but exists in three different forms: solid, liquid, and gas.
God also is a single entity that exists in three different forms: The Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Just because you only see one form at a time does not mean the other two are not present. Furthermore, the old testement makes many references to Jesus in addition to the Father and the Holy Spirit.

I hope this helps you...

I have explained this on numerous occasions..
Keep in mind this is symbolic and allegorical.

The genesis story is from a much older and much more detailed story.
The genesis story is roughly half-way through the original story, the actual beginning/origin story was cut short and edited to make it more easily understandable.. (Great Job, Not!)

The God in the Genesis story is the ignorant child that was birthed by the true God's counter-part.

GOD is the invisible Spirit, of whom it is not right to think of him as a god, or something similar.

This is the GOD that every religion speaks of... The GOD with all of the amazing attributes..

For he is more than a god, since there is nothing above him, for no one lords it over him. For he does not exist in something inferior to him, since everything exists in him. For it is he who establishes himself. He is eternal, since he does not need anything. For he is total perfection. He did not lack anything, that he might be completed by it; rather he is always completely perfect in light. He is illimitable, since there is no one prior to him to set limits to him. He is unsearchable, since there exists no one prior to him to examine him. He is immeasurable, since there was no one prior to him to measure him. He is invisible, since no one saw him. He is eternal, since he exists eternally. He is ineffable, since no one was able to comprehend him to speak about him. He is unnameable, since there is no one prior to him to give him a name.

and this GOD, decided to create a counter-part for himself..

And his thought performed a deed and she came forth, namely she who had appeared before him in the shine of his light. This is the first power which was before all of them (and) which came forth from his mind, She is the forethought of the All - her light shines like his light - the perfect power which is the image of the invisible, virginal Spirit who is perfect. The first power, the glory of Barbelo, the perfect glory in the aeons, the glory of the revelation, she glorified the virginal Spirit and it was she who praised him, because thanks to him she had come forth. This is the first thought, his image; she became the womb of everything, for it is she who is prior to them all, the Mother-Father, the first man, the holy Spirit, the thrice-male, the thrice-powerful, the thrice-named androgynous one, and the eternal aeon among the invisible ones, and the first to come forth.

Now together these two God's created the only begotten son (which means issuing from the father)
and this is Christ (LOVE)...

"This is the pentad of the aeons of the Father, which is the first man, the image of the invisible Spirit; it is the forethought, which Barbelo, and the thought, and the foreknowledge, and the indestructibility, and the eternal life, and the truth. This is the androgynous pentad of the aeons, which is the decad of the aeons, which is the Father.

"And he looked at Barbelo with the pure light which surrounds the invisible Spirit, and (with) his spark, and she conceived from him. He begot a spark of light with a light resembling blessedness. But it does not equal his greatness. This was an only-begotten child of the Mother-Father which had come forth; it is the only offspring, the only-begotten one of the Father, the pure Light.

and this was all fine and well..
But God's counter-part decided to go off by herself and create another SON without the consent of GOD

"And the Sophia of the Epinoia, being an aeon, conceived a thought from herself and the conception of the invisible Spirit and foreknowledge. She wanted to bring forth a likeness out of herself without the consent of the Spirit, - he had not approved - and without her consort, and without his consideration. And though the person of her maleness had not approved, and she had not found her agreement, and she had thought without the consent of the Spirit and the knowledge of her agreement, (yet) she brought forth. And because of the invincible power which is in her, her thought did not remain idle, and something came out of her which was imperfect and different from her appearance, because she had created it without her consort. And it was dissimilar to the likeness of its mother, for it has another form.

at this point things are created out of thought and desire..
and she noticed what her desire had created.. and she was ashamed..
so she ignored her child and cast him aside.. (not so nice now eh?)

"And when she saw (the consequences of) her desire, it changed into a form of a lion-faced serpent. And its eyes were like lightning fires which flash. She cast it away from her, outside that place, that no one of the immortal ones might see it, for she had created it in ignorance. And she surrounded it with a luminous cloud, and she placed a throne in the middle of the cloud that no one might see it except the holy Spirit who is called the mother of the living. And she called his name Yaltabaoth.

and so Satan was created.

"This is the first archon who took a great power from his mother. And he removed himself from her and moved away from the places in which he was born. He became strong and created for himself other aeons with a flame of luminous fire which (still) exists now. And he joined with his arrogance which is in him and begot authorities for himself. The name of the first one is Athoth, whom the generations call the reaper. The second one is Harmas, who is the eye of envy. The third one is Kalila-Oumbri. The fourth one is Yabel. The fifth one is Adonaiou, who is called Sabaoth. The sixth one is Cain, whom the generations of men call the sun. The seventh is Abel. The eighth is Abrisene. The ninth is Yobel. The tenth is Armoupieel. The eleventh is Melceir-Adonein. The twelfth is Belias, it is he who is over the depth of Hades. And he placed seven kings - each corresponding to the firmaments of heaven - over the seven heavens, and five over the depth of the abyss, that they may reign. And he shared his fire with them, but he did not send forth from the power of the light which he had taken from his mother, for he is ignorant darkness.

"And when the light had mixed with the darkness, it caused the darkness to shine. And when the darkness had mixed with the light, it darkened the light and it became neither light nor dark, but it became dim.

"Now the archon who is weak has three names. The first name is Yaltabaoth, the second is Saklas, and the third is Samael. And he is impious in his arrogance which is in him. For he said, 'I am God and there is no other God beside me,' for he is ignorant of his strength, the place from which he had come.

and he took off for himself and created a multitude of beings..

"And the archons created seven powers for themselves, and the powers created for themselves six angels for each one until they became 365 angels. And these are the bodies belonging with the names: the first is Athoth, a he has a sheep's face; the second is Eloaiou, he has a donkey's face; the third is Astaphaios, he has a hyena's face; the fourth is Yao, he has a serpent's face with seven heads; the fifth is Sabaoth, he has a dragon's face; the sixth is Adonin, he had a monkey's face; the seventh is Sabbede, he has a shining fire-face. This is the sevenness of the week.

ALL VERY SYMBOLIC^^^^

I'll cut the externals short now, because I'm running out of space to write..

But essentially what happened from there is, GODs counter-part felt ashamed and GOD put her in a specific place over her deficiency to correct it.. but to no avail and she wept and GOD sent the Holy Spirit... etc etc..
It was seen in the waters and Yaltabaoth said to his creations "Let us Create Man in Our Image and Our Likeness" because The Holy Spirit appeared to them in the reflection as a human figure.

the rest of the story is here.

The old and even the new testaments does not use the word trinity but its there evidence of 3 scales on which God works and thinks.

In Genesis it says
Gen1v2 - and the spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

No not a UFO above water but a Spirit. 1

Gen 1v3 And God said ''Let there be light''

Gen 2v18 The Lord God said. ''It is not good for the man to be alone.

So it makes sense that these 3 elements of God the creator father the spirit and the encased humanoid lord God are his different elements of the same thing that is all still one.
A bit like you can be a brother, a son and a father but your role to each thing is different but you are still you. But if you could had the power you have decided because you are so powerful to have enough of you to do all the roles separately.

Even so the Book of Revelations does say the one like the Lamb born the Root of David (Jesus) is passing the scroll to the one seated on the throne that is also Jesus. Basically Jesus is like a heavenly parallel universe version of him self from heaven that divided and dived into this sea of time and broke out to become the Lord of Lords. Yes as complex as it sounds all this is better simplified mans automatic instinct of God as one being in one place. How can a God who is omnipresent but also in Heaven and yet as one? Is that not a form of separation it self of his different roles? Because that just describes what the Bible has been saying as being all along everywhere in being but with different cores and the laws of the universe are not separate God’s either. The spirit is like a blood or stem cell an infinite God particle it can be cloned or used according to thinkers thought process.

The scroll is the Revelation is like of our Time line to Christ who even him self does not know when the end of end of age will take place but only the Father. For some people it's too complex to understand you need to be scientific in approach and say the universe is made of 3 dimensional space that is one entity as we see it.

The Old Testament shows different elements of how God is in spirit form, in Father speaking mode but the absent Lord version from the garden of Eden that man betrayed would not come in the form of Jesus until further down the line as a human who's role was to live again after death. This to conquer death as man could not do so as that Lamb like sacrifice then appearing after his death becoming the Lord of Lords his multiple version of him self having authority mankind and a sole roll to govern earth too the realm outside of Eternity.

I have never gone too deep about this as it makes sense if not a longer thought process than a single God who in theory a double God it self if he was to be in different places, but it did makes sense when the Old Testament did say ‘Us’ as God appoints different levels of him self and Christ him self the lord keeps his individuality.

The ancients knew a lot of things and God did not approve of man's progress and divided man. There is and was forbidden knowledge then because if was put to use properly there could have been enough spiritual or technological advancements to have destroyed time and space as we know it that we live in. Other portals of dimensions could have taken a foot hold here of us in there.

If you look at the Mayans and the Egyptians they all the sacrificed humans are to God's as this was a precursor to Jesus a saviour figure for mankind. Angles tried it but failed like Genesis6 and after. They all make towering objects of the same shape (could this be future Jerusalem did the angles know its shape being like a pyramid?)
They all were into the stars and all had secret knowledge if not advanced knowledge with an ignorant use for it. If they carried on till today w would have had cities on Mars by now.

Like most things, the monotheistic Hebrew religion didn't just spring full-blown out of nowhere. It's a combination of several much older religions just chock full of nature gods and human heroes.

"Yahweh" is the old Semitic god of storms, not necessarily the head honcho.

Why were the Hebrews God's "chosen people?" It was an experiment. The Hebrews were so quick to backslide to their old calf worship that it was a real challenge to see if God could get them to embrace monotheism and stick with it.

And considering how the Jews have pretty much given up on their religion over the past 100 years or so, it looks like God is losing his bet again.

A Good question why does it still go on? It could be the inverted versions of the real meanings behind it all. The power of good can be turned upside down to reach another spiritual level, maybe not God but Satan who is more attainable along with his demons. This opening up of energy could give forbidden power to the people who seek it who in turn like a class A drug destroys you. People want power even if it means selling their souls.

Also people can say the Israelites or the Jews were influenced by other religions as the BIBLE too says other apostate religions and cults spawned from it. So who spawned whom we cannot really prove either way, but what we do know is that the Biblical message has been preserved and many mysteries and questions are still being debated if not run parts of the worlds because of it. This it self along with prophecy and it's promises can lead to wonder that it speaks true to it self as it claims otherwise it should be just cease to exist. You can argue that religion is used to drive the masses for the good or bad but usually if it was bad it would be just fall apart, it’s harder though to judge once it starts producing other separate off shoots if these are trustworthy as a trueby what ever new message it casts.

The account of the three angels dining with Abraham is interesting. These angels even ate physical food but somehow Abraham knew they weren't just human, eventhough they looked like it. One angel was called "Yahweh" which is the main god of the hebrews and he did all the talking. Why were the other two angels present in that meeting with Abraham. It seems that their purpose would fulfilled when they were done dining at the tent. The three angels went outside Abraham's tent and the two unnamed beings walked to Sodom to warn Lot and his family about a pending disaster. The angel named Yahweh continued to converse with Abraham about the rightfulness of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. The angel listened to Abraham and was even going to yield to Abraham's wishes if certain factors were met. Finally Yahweh left Abraham, but he never rejoined the two angels that went to Lot. It seems as though the angel representing Yahweh left the plantet to compel a fleet of passing asteroids or comets to fall onto Sodom and Gommorah.

The line "in our image" and "in our likeness" has always bothered me. So does the one "and there were giants in those days."

Like others have said, once you start reading/studying various civilizations you do start seeing a recycling of stories. Basically, the story stays the same but the names change. History repeats itself.

Most people assume Moses wrote the first few books of the Bible and in Exodous 4:10 he tells God he is slow of speech and slow of tongue. Some have suggested he had a stutter or impediment of some sort. I think the whole beginning of Genesis is very vague.

Others were speaking of the trinity and I wanted to make just a couple comments about that. My father and myself used to bible study before he passed away and he believed in the trinity. I think there are compelling arguements for both sides, but I lean towards them being seperate. Jesus was conceived by the holy spirit, but his cousin John, who was 6 months older than him was filled with the holy spirit from the womb. This was a special birth for Elizabeth because she was barren and older. She is also from the daughters of Aaron, who was Moses's older brother. I tend to think that the holy spirit is so powerful - it is the connecting link between God and Jesus. Between God and John. It serves as a bridge. It is the one thing you can not blaspheme against. My guess is the spirit was somehow passed from John to Jesus. Possibly when John baptized Jesus or even after John was beheaded.

Also, Jesus is to sit at the right hand of God. I'm not quite sure what's on the left or even if there is a left.

Maybe someday an archaeological dig will make it all clear.

Psalms 82:1 "God standeth in the congregation
Of the Mighty:
He judgeth among the gods.

God is capitalized meaning the maker.
And among the gods is not at Capitalized. Why is gods not capitalized because he is talking to the mortal man. The judges of other men, and he is dressing them down for the way they are judging. Listening to the traditions of men, and worshiping idols.

This is the whole subject of the Psalms 82 "But ye shall die like men."

Genesis 1:26 And God said, “let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness: and let…..earth.”

You must go back to the Hebrew Us. Us= Elohim. This word can mean several things depending on the subject of the chapter (or what is being taught her) The creation. Elohim means God if the verb follows a capital G as in God, His Angels, and His Son, The Word. And whenever you have God, The Son, you always have the Holy Spirit.

To Document you must to John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Remember Jesus is the Living World of God.

So The Us in Genesis 1:06 In the image of God, Jesus, and the Angels. Us and Our Image.

Genesis 3:22 And the Lord God said, “Behold the man is become as one of Us….”

First who is man. The man adam. Who learned what good and evil was in the garden. And Eve also.
Now they new everything. Nothing hidden, just like Us= God , Jesus, and the Angels.

You forgot to capitalize Us and the verse starts out with the Lord God. Remember to include the entire scripture in your studies. It will make it less confusing for you.
Genesis 18:2 And he lift up his eyes and looked and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them for the tent door, and bowed, himself toward the ground.

Chapter 18 Is when the Lord God came to Abraham to tell him that Sarah was going to have a child. You pick up the subject in verse 10. But who are the men. This word is translated form the Hebrew word ‘ish and is plural. Meaning more than two.

More like our word "several" more than two but not more than three, or two or three.
Translated as men. Angeles are almost always call men or young men in the Bible.

They are again the Elohim, but nothing is capitalized. So that would mean that God and Angels, leaving out Jesus at this time. You know that one of them is the Lord, because it states so in 18:1 And the Lord appeared unto him.

So the men are The Lord and two Angels.

Genesis 19:2 And he said “Behold now my lords turn in, I pray you into your servant’s house, and tarry all night and wash your feet and ye shall rise up early, and go your ways.”

In this verse lords is translated from the Hebrew world Adon= Gods headship in various aspects. The lords in 19:2 are the Angels that come to destroy Sodom. And are the two Angels that came with The Lord in chapter 18

Remember to always look for the subject (what is being taught) the object (what is the teaching about) and the who (who is talking, and what are they talking about) The subject in 19 Starts in 18 when Abraham is trying to save even one soul in Sodom.

I hope this helps. I love to teach, if you have any questions about my study here or anything else please do e-mail me at [email protected]

How about Genesis 19:24. I'm suprised nobody discussing the 3 men/angels/ plurality of GOD picked up on this.
Genesis 19:24 Then the LORD rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, FROM THE LORD OUT OF THE HEAVENS.
The word LORD in both instances is the same. GOD calls out to GOD...
Far out. Could be the pre-incarnate Christ.

I just wanted to point out some things.

1. Elohim is also the name of the Canaanite Pantheon and means Children of El in the mythology
2. El Elyon is also the Most High of that pantheon
3. Elohim is always used in the "Us" and "Our" verses in the Bible
4. The Tetragrammaton is always used in the Singular
5. The Beni Ha Elohim "Sons of the Elohim" are the celestials who appear in Genesis and Job.

Analysis of Psalms 82

"G-d has taken his place in the divine council ('adat'el)."

Analysis:The Adatel is the Divine Assembly of the Canaanite pantheon.

"In the midst of the gods ('elohîm) he holds judgment: "How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked?"
Give justice to the weak and fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute.Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.
They have neither knowledge nor understanding, they walk about in darkness;
I say, "You are gods ('elohîm), sons of the Most High (b‘n‘ 'Elyon), all of you;
Nevertheless, you shall die(temutun) like men (Adam) , and fall like one of the princes (Sarim)"

Analysis:Temutun means to become mortal. Sarim are Angels/Celestials who are the patron or guardian angels of the Seventy Nations of the Children of Men.

“When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, When He separated the children of men, He set the borders of the peoples according to the number of the Sons of G-d.” (Deuteronomy 32:8).

In Canaanite mythology El had Seventy Children total which is the same number of the nations in the Bible. These may be the same "Sons of G-d" from Genesis and Job. This would help explain how theses celestial beings produced the Nephilim from union with humans. The beings had become mortal.

"Arise, O G-d ('elohîm), judge the earth; for to thee belong all the nations!"

Conclusion: I believe that G-d is addressing the Seventy Sons or Children that rule the Seventy nations of the Children of men. The Adatel is the Divine Court or Assembly, the same as the one in Job. G-d threatens them with loss of their immortality and to fall as the Sarim, a possible reference to the events in the days of Noah. There seem to be two groups of Seventy children. One is the Elohim(Children of El) and the other is the "Sons of Elohim". They both play some kind of role in judging and ruling the nations of the children of men. They are the Host of Heaven referenced here.

" And when you look up in the sky and behold the sun and the moon and the stars, the whole Heavenly Host, you must not be lured into bowing down to them or serving them. These the Lord your G-d allotted to other peoples everywhere under heaven; but you the Lord took and brought out of Egypt, that iron blast furnace, to be His very own people, as is now the case." (Deuteronomy 4:19-20).

Now how would one kill a god or make them mortal. In many mythologies there is nourishment that gives the gods immortality. In Norse and Greek myth it is golden apples or ambrosia. Is there such a thing in the Bible?

" And the Lord G-d planted a garden eastward , in Eden; and there He put the man Whom He had formed. And out of the ground made the Lord G-d to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the Tree of Life also in the midst of the garden" (Genesis 2:9)

"And the Lord G-d said:"Behold, the man is become as one of Us, to know good and evil; and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the Tree of Life, and eat, and live for ever." ( Genesis 3:22)

Adam was expelled from the Garden lest he became immortal like the Elohim. He had already gained Their knowledge from the Tree of Knowledge. The Elohim in Psalm 82 are threatened with mortality most likely meaning expulsion and denial to the Tree of Life. This had already occurred with some of the Sarim, probably during the days of Noah. This leads to all kind of questions and possibilities.
