Hey Guys,

I was recently reading up on a case from 1952 Called Operation Mainbrace, when 80,000 NATO personnel took part in a joing exercise off the Denmark straight and were followed by USO's (Unidentified Submerged Objects), one even clipped a US frigate while diving out the water but it was marked down as a ship collision, what does everyone else think of this particular case with so many witnesses?

80,000 ships? I doubt there are that many in all the navies of the world.

Anyway, it wouldn't be odd if Soviet subs were shadowing them...

More detaiils?

Very interesting , would love to have a look at those photographs that they took , they sound as if they had a very good look at the objects.

Talked to my dad earlier, after reading the OP.
He joined the Navy after this (joined in '58).

He actually remembered the Mainbrace nomen., but said that as he recalled, it wasn't that large of a force, and that he didn't hear of any UFO's.

Just relating what my dad said. Adding facts to the OP. Well, facts as he
remembers.
