And I guess you hold this almighty power to determine who is worthy of passing with dignity?

It does nothing! Your argument has no merit whatsoever.

Rework your argument and try again. No validity whatsoever.

Edit: I can see some of your recent posts that your frustrated with the media. All that I can say, deal with it. This is a human being. A human being that is deserving of respect. If you do not like the way the media is portraying the event, change the channel. If you do not like the way this thread is progressing, ignore it. Very simple.

One thing that your forgetting is it is my opinion. Theres not argument when it comes to an opinion. Its sad that the media is making more of her death the of the soldiers that died in Iraq just a day earlier. That is all. Blame the media for all the insensitivity.

And that is it in a nutshell right there. We can whine about the media all day, but the fact is, if it was not for us the viewers, we would not be inundated with all of this. The media feeds us what we want. When we are fed the latest news on random celebrities, it merely indicates that it is what the viewer is looking for. If it did not receive any ratings, it would not be on the air. Rather than flaming the media for playing it, look to yourself and your neighbor to see if there is a reason for them putting it over the airwaves.

We've done it to ourselves.

I don't think her passing should outweigh the lost lives of our troops. But I also don't think she should be ridiculed for receiving coverage.

Ok the thread tittle is about Anna Nichole death why people is trying to change the subject?

This is about her death.

If somebody wants to discuss how much this news is going to take away from anastronaut in diapers and the death toll in Iraq make a new thread on that topic.

This is ridiculous.

It is in poor taste to bag someone out like that, then to offer condolences to their family.

Who the hell are you to judge? It is sad that shes dead. Im still missing how her death deserves to be "breaking news".

Sorry??... You are really nasty about someone then in the same paragraph you put in self serving condolences for her family. True lack of class.

I know this is going to sound harsh, but look what growing up with ANS as a mom did for her son. Maybe having her daughter grow up in another persons care isn't such a bad thing.

so true, im not haten on anna, but she's not like mic jaggar or steven tyler, who still get # up but their kids are grown up, and transfutions are just like gettin an oil change every 5000 k.

She thought she could play mom, and everyones giving statement "oh what a great mom" ya right, they know it will be an issue and their pillowing blow.

She had to go in my opinoin

Does anyone else see the irony in all of this? I would go as far as to say hypocrisy. Members are complaining of all this unnecessary attention, as they post to the thread. With every post, they are drawing more attention to her passing. Complaining of all the attention, while adding to it's attention... yeah that is some irony for all of us.

You know what?

I AM SICK OF HEARING ABOUT IRAQ!!

To those that are calling her names and to those that can't show her any respect AFTER she has died.........you are the self-rightous bunch that thinks you never do any wrong!

I ask you this: Have you walked a mile in her shoes?

Try to show a little decency towards this dead woman AND MOVE ON if you don't have anything better to say about her!

Look at it more as venting frustration then anything else, its about how truly classless are media is. America is a sad sad place...

It's unfortunate really. It would take more than half of the current staff to keep this thread on topic and behaving with decorum. Here is where I tip my hat and say "G'Day!".

My thoughts remain with Mrs. Smith's daughter, who is going to have to learn about her mother through the ignorance we are filling with our board.

I hope she rests in peace.

God speed.

Sorry as in "what?" So are you telling me that in the US it is socially accepted to be horrid to someone who has died then in the same breath give a totally insincere sorry to the family? I'm sure it isn't. I think it is just an uneducated person like yourself you exposes this hate.

when i first saw the news today (which said that she was ill), i thought to myself "why the hell is this newsworthy"

then, checking back at the channel, i saw that she died...

its interesting to note that all that money she received from her husband is going to go to her 1-2 year old daughter...

Just food for thought, If I remember correctly Anna's boyfriend was listed on the birth certificate of her newborn baby, and shortly after her son died, Now her, and with the boyfriend/lawyer as the father he is now in control of the Baby's inheritance and any future earnings, he is a lawyer after all.

First, possible someone could have killed the son, Then Anna, now in control of all of Anna's estate... Hmmmm

I feel the story is newsworthy, just not ATSSN.com newsworthy. That is why I started the thread in BTS.
If the moderators feel this is ATSSN newsworthy who are we to question this.

It is a shocking death so it will understandably so draw a lot of attention, especially from the media. And no matter how bad of a person you may think someone is, they will always have a fan somewhere.
No matter what the baby will be famous just because of her mother (this is a sad reality), let's just hope she doesn't turn out the same way.
