jets to patrol Iran-Iraq border

Not patrolling the Iraqi/Iranian as well as the Syrian frontier both on the ground and in the air from the beginning was the error made by our military that most disturbs me in the whole operation.

It should have been obvious that the Iranian aims are not to have a stable democratic Iraq - were it to occur a complete destablization in Iran would occur.
