Forget the gator. I did a rough estimate comparing the deer to the alligator. Putting the gator at 28' makes the deer about 19' from the neck to the
tail.
That's longer than a moose
As posted, the length actually was between 12 and 14 feet.
In reading more i've seen that they had a skull and after measuring it, it was "only" 15.7 ft.
The biggest know croc alive is called gustav and he is pretty big!
This one is better but i can't make a video link to it go there
Actually the report goes on to say that it was actually 16 feet or so.
But i know they get sometimes to 25-23 feet..
in any matter that first photo of the aligator id great ..His frikkin head is huge, easily the size of that deer
And as far as great White vs Croc, it would have to be in deep water thus giving the Great white a huge advantage as they ambush from below, I dont
think the croc would know what hit him
It doesn't really look that much bigger than the deer it's carrying. In Africa, crocodiles take down all manner of 4-hoofed game like nothing. This
thing just looks normal to me.
No modern Crocs get past 25 ft. The biggest American Alligators get maybe 15-16. As for Gustave, if its true he managed to bring down an adult hippo,
I'm staying clear away from that croc.
