Mangoes are for smoothies, not throwing.

They stain.

My God. Reality is fascinating and amazing enough without aliens, ufo's and other maniacal assertions made without a shred of supporting evidnence.

Yes mankind is an amazing species - despite all the badness in some. Their accomplishments and skills are remarkable and it does sadden me that so many tried so desperately to depreciate the skills and expertise of ancients just to give it to Atlanteans, Aliens or other unknown and invisible people.

Yeah Harte is a bit cranky at times but he is a true fountain of knowledge. We appreciate him greatly and try to over look his eating of raw hummingbirds, gluing squirrels to buses, throwing mangoes at young children and a dreadful sense of hygiene.

Compared to Marduk, I'm a sweetharte.

this has been said many times but once again....fraudsters like Hancock, von Däniken, Sitchin, Wilcock, Greer, Icke, Brian Foerster are in it for the money. They sell their lies to the people who like to hear their stories.
For hours.
They lie on porpose for the dollars. Hancock was a journalist but switched to the more lucrative fringe.

cheers

I'm not going to disagree about him going after dollars. I'm not going to argue that he has been wrong about some of his beliefs.
BUT I find his theories on the Mayans, Aztecs, and Incas as our knowledge about South and Central America to be insightful, especially as we find out more and more about them.
I don't believe in "Atlantis" but I do believe there are common themes in ancestral stories and I do not see why a culture that could have been fairly similar to ours flourishing before a major disaster is so hard to believe. It is certainly increasing in probability as we walk back our understanding of "primitive" cultures

Is it really that lucrative? Compared to what? I look at the fringe as just that. Fringe. Meaning a pretty small market. They may be able to make an okay living, but I really doubt they're getting rich.

Although that would explain the owners of this site flying around in gold-plated zeppelins and dropping ingots of gold on poor people they fly over.

Well, Hancock is a multimillionaire.

He didn't get there with his journalism career.

Didn't his father or grandfather do some kind of foreign work for the British government? I remember him mentioning that he spotted his grandfather's graffiti on one of the stones at the top of the Great Pyramid. I assumed that he did not come from a poor background.

In any event, if it's true, then all I can say is that I need to get my Power Point presentation together that proves definitively Angels channeled by shamans on psychedelic substances built the Pyramids, Stonehenge, and Cahokia. And the tunnels of Antarctica.

He's entertaining, though. More articulate than most of the other guys out there. So at least he halfway earns it.

Oh I agree if you ripped off any body parts of a true believer you always return them while Marduk use to eat them.

Hey has Marduk ever surfaced here in past five years?

I talked him into returning a couple of years ago. He didn't last long though.
But at least this last time he wasn't banned.
