Chinese missile obliterates satellite

With all the current turmoil throughout Asia with Korea and such, and not to mention the Middle East problem, why would China choose to stir things up NOW and anger U.S. officials?

With this technology, what do you think China is thinking of, or at least capable of doing to us as a nation? Are they up to something?

I'm not educated in this area, so I'd like to know what reason they could have for testing this kind of "space" missile at this point in time

ahh..the beginning of space warfare.....now that would be interesting
