The Rosicrucians are Christian in nature, or Christic; meaning that they explore, and strive to live, the Christ-like or Christic Principles(Gnosis) found in all Religions.

Let us remember that Father C.R.C., whether a solely symbolic individual, or historical as well, was Initiated by Islamic Masters(probably Sufi-Gnostic s or Sophees) in "Damcar".

I believe I understanding where you are coming from Masonic Light; thank you for taking the time to reply. I have in the past read about the origins of the Rosicrucian order; I gues I was curious if you were perhaps referring to an ineffable kind of lineage as opposed to the historical ones.
I have been told in the past that members of a/the white lodge will contact you totally apart from/regardless of any monogram ordering or orders you might belong to.

I would argue that our Father C.R.C. was initiated by Sufi Masters, instead of using the term "Islamic Masters". I realize that Sufi Masters are the true Islamic Masters, and I would venture that you would probably agree. However, what the masses of Muslims consider "masters" are nothing of the sort, and they generally consider our Sufi Brethren to be heretics.

Zedd and I wote a pretty good thread concerning the Rosicrucians a couple years ago... it should hopefully still be in the ATS archive; I'll try to look it up and post the link.

Here you go:

Where are the scrolls of the true teachings of Jesus currently kept?

Uh... let me think, that came up at the last convention right after we discussed annual budget.

Come on... it's not like that. The masonic rosicrucian society is a group of
masons with a philosophical bent... it's a research society, not the keepers of any sacred whatchamacalits.

How disappointing and here I was hoping you had some real answers... so may I ask which Order you joined and your level?

So no secret sacred whatchamacalits?

Too bad

The Masonic Rosicrucian Society functions as a research society. It is an honorary invitational body: candidates for admission must be regular Master Masons in good standing, and trinitarian Christians. The High Council's website is located here.

Do you have any indication that such a thing exists or that if they did they were not immediately destroyed?

I would love to have rifle around in the Vatican vaults myself or perhaps discover Ivan's lost library...sadly these are the things that dreams are made of...

There is an excellent book by Tom Robbin's called Another Roadside Attraction, it is a fictional account of a guy discovering Jesus' body in the vaults???

I think that the Nag Hammadi held some of the secret teachings, or rather those Gospels that were suppressed by the Church - The Gospels of Philip and Mary, and Judas'.

www.gnosis.org...

I wonder though if the Vatican would just destroy such inflammatory material if they got their hands on it. I don't think it would appear in the Vaults because the attempt would have actually been to wipe its existence from the planet. What the Vatican really worries about is what is out there that hasn't been discovered and how they must control such discoveries.

Take the rather convenient timing of the invasion on Iraq - a matter of days after archaeologists had announced the possible discovery of the Tomb of Gilgamesh...if I was interested in conspiracies I'd put two and two together there....there were reports early in the occupation of the US military doing everything possible to damage archaeological sites including Ishtar's Gate. I doubt very much that when archaeologists are allowed to return to Iraq that they will find nothing of any significance.

It is similarly why I would be interested in whether Ivan the Terrible's library was myth or reality - it may free of Vatican meddling and he was quite the collector. What the Nag Hammadi tells us about the early Christians, Ivan's library might tell us about the people's of Northern Europe who so long resisted the Latinisation that swept the rest of Europe.

Well no, to be honest they are not. They were moved to the new place before WWII. It is the spiritual duty of true Rosicrucians to know where the documents are and recover them should the need arise, or their safety be compromised. from cataclysmic events. There is only one Rosicrucian fraternity with lineage and records from the foundation of the country, that is fully compatible with the great work and teachings of freemasonry. It is not the AMORC, even though they may be good well meaning folks.

This is the only real "Rosicrucian" order, which still teaches the formula of the rosy-cross, to my knowledge.

Everyone who's face appears on American currency, without exception, was a member of this order.

So was Napoleon, Frederic of Prussia II, Henry Cornelius Agrippa, Eliphas Levi, George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, and many others, members of this lodge.

As with the OTO (Christ Crucified between two thieves) from which flows blood and water which one must drink to gain immortality, the order aims at preparation and finally revealing the formula of the Crucifixion, the Rose and Cross, Witch and Broom, Point within the Circle, Generation squared and circumscribed, and so on.
