I have sound and I heard everything on the video, I just said the people sound unrealistic to me, on my previous post.

We can all blindly believe, after all it's not like no one ever tried to fake a UFO video, right?

If you can believe something on a video, we have no way of proving its authenticity, just because a stranger says so, then good for you. But that doesnt work for me.

I'm not criticizing anyone here for believing this video, or any other one I think it's fake. I respect everyone's opinion. I was just giving mine.

I watched and heard both videos, they look fake to me. Everything about it. The images, the sound, people's behaviour, etc.

Hey, I want to believe too, I just dont take things for granted, and I try to question them before believing.
And this one didnt pass my 'test'.

To be honest, this video isn't that interesting to me, but it's surely because I think it's fake.

I find the UFO subject, interesting yes, and I've seen alot of interesting videos, so I can relate to your feelings

I KNOW NOW!!!!

I've been racking my brain over this for ages now since i first saw this video this morning.

The 2nd video where it 'takes off' reminded me on something i had seen in a movie, and now i know where.

The tripods from the original War of the Worlds. It is nearly identical to them. The movement, the shape, everything.

The video was also on TV's Sightings in the 1990's I believe. I can't promise it and I have to research before I shoot my mouth off, but I think it was proven to be a hoax. It was big news for a little bit and then it kind of fell apart. Looks like I need to find a link.

I don't believe this is the original but someone playing around with the original and doing some very poor voice overs. Whatever you do get back from that window!

Gazrok probably knows the story on this video.

The UFOs look too bright and colorful to be believable to me. They just don't seem realistic.

Also...please correct me if I'm wrong, but if their Canadian why do they sound like they have southern accents?

The 'Aliens' look like actors in suits that are moving very robotically. But then I suppose we don't know what aliens are meant to look and move like so it's not exactly proof that it's fake.

There isn't any "aliens"(i hate that term) on the video. Only what seems to be one craft on ground and one taking off...

Correct.

The video (but NOT the soundtrack) is from the well known "Guardian" footage, purportedly showing a UFO landing in the Carp area of Ontario, Canada.

The fully story is rather complicated but, basically, from about 1989 onwards several Canadian and American researchers received a VHS tape with the word "GUARDIAN" written on it. They also received some photographs and some documents that described a 'conspiracy' between the Chinese and "Grey Aliens that are planning to take over the world".

The video subsequently appeared on quite a few documentaries, including "Unsolved Mysteries", "Sightings" and "Encounters". The video was supported by a few well known ufologists (particularly Bob Oechsler and Bruce Maccabee).

However, the video is largely regarded as a hoax - partly due to a detailed report by Canadian representatives of MUFON (Tom Theofanous & Errol Bruce-Knapp in 1994/1995).

They concluded: “… the Guardian video of a 'UFO landing' has, after analysis, proved inconclusive and likely is either a pick-up truck or (according to the RCMP investigation) a helicopter.”

Relatively few people supported the video following that report, although Bruce Maccabee did write a fairly long response which contended that "the alert reader [of EBK's report] will realize that the article presents no convincing evidence to show that either the witness testimony or the video constitute a hoax". See Bruce's comments within a letter dated 25 May 1994 to the editors of the MUFON Journal at the link below:

No, the video on here is pretty convincing actually. Surely a helicopter wouldn't have those lights and you would be able to hear it clearly?

The two videos appear to be filmed from different perspectives, or we are missing part of the video as on the 2nd one the "UFO" appears closer to the red/orange light that looks like a flare(s).

I've got this feeling that the way in which the video was taken was intentional, notice the high colour/color contrast which blinds you from making out any visible detail, i do feel it could be easy to replicate this video with use of lighting and clever filming.

Sensfan, can you tell us - is that a typical accent of Ottawa?

At the end of the 2nd video as the "UFO" leaves the scene there does appear to be a flat edge which is containing the view much like that of a window.

Ottawa, and most of Canada, is a melting pot of cultures, so trying to determing the nationality of the voices in the video is an effort in futility.

By the way, we do not say "aboot" and "no doot aboot it".

Care to shed some light on your "test". You said theres no proof that it's real, well guess what there is no proof that it's not either. Just another (new) member who yells fake with little to no insight on the matter, another member who cannot believe something extraordinary is real unless CNN or NBC says so.

This along with almost every other video theres no real way to know if it's real or not. That said this is one of the videos that lean more to the "non hoax" side and has for a very long time now.

i had something else typed but after viewing it a cpl of more times i decided to trash my theory lol.. i cannot tell what it is at all, so in my opinion it is a true Unidentified Object..

Do I have to believe? I'm sorry for being skeptical, but that's my approach to all UFO videos, and last time I checked I had the right to be skeptical.

Can you really blame me for that approach with all the fake videos that keep getting released?

But anyway, you have your approach, I have mine. And I was giving my opinion. After all, isn't that what discussion boards and forums are meant for?

This is something that's being played on a TV and it's being recorded off the TV with the camera.

Hell, you can even see the red light from the camera being reflected on the screen..

Fake AND lame.
