Sorry, but everyone has the right to complain about it... that's granted by our 1st Amendment Right.
Do something about it?
The Constitution has already formed that "militia" for us. It's all of us. All of those that refuse to just simply "stop complaining about it",
have that protected right to "keep and bear arms". I know, I know. Not everyone owns or has to own arms. That's beside the point. The 2nd
Amendment is the last course of action in regards to fighting off the pestilence of our government. The militia created by the 2nd Amendment
encompasses every single American citizen, as long as they accept the responsibility.
Other means of action...
There are tons of petitions online. There are scores of people that have written their own websites to voice their concerns (of which I have as
well). There are loads of people that protest whenever possible (of which I feel there should be more). There are countless people that write to
their congressperson. There are many many people that take part in online forums (such as this one, as you have, too).
Everyone, IMO, that is doing "something", even if just complaining about it, are doing their part. It's never been written as to what each person
has to do. There is no definition as to what is required by any specific individual.
15 and having your whole life to live?... There won't be much of a life for you to live (speaking of freedoms), if there's not enough people that
"complain" about things being taken away that are rightfully yours.
You being only 15 are still young and influential. I would encourage you to learn all that you can about what rights you have. Because without those
rights, you have nothing.
Stories of what the government has done to people? Because they have opposed the government? If this is in reference to the American government,
which from the sounds of it, it is... then you also need to learn all you can about "our" government. Learn the differences between "democracy"
and "republic", the difference between "republic" and "dictatorship". These are but only a few terms used to describe the root of many problems
we all share today.
Whichever your course, I wish you luck.
