This is 100% correct. Information gained from the net should be checked with other sources. I agree with this. However, some might not like the other sources I have used, one of which is the Shortwave. American Freedom News Host Rick Wiles has been talking about this for over 2 years and he even got a hold of someone down in S. America who was an eyewitness to what is going on. Ok let me restate something ...I didnt mean you "ONLY" need to listen to local media..I ment just to listen to what is being said around you..

Now I am not saing that china will take over the southern US just that they are able to cripple it.. How would we strike back? Well most red necks would say "we got bigger guns and we will nuke there ass so they wont do anything" well do you think that if we had a singel strike against us that we would end life as we know it by launching a full scale nucular attack?

The southern bases are gone or going, and yes we are that stupid! Fort Hood GONE, Carlswell AFB GONE, Brooks AFB GONE, Kelly AFB GONE, McClellan AFB GONE, .... 97 bases so far, 24 in Cal and 7 in Tex....

If one wants to look to the future one must look into the past.. (hay many german subs were sunk off the coast of texas durring WWII?)

Okay, for starters, if there were 90k Chinese troops massing in northern Mexico, the general public would know about it. I'm a Texan and I can tell you that people pass freely across the border all the time in that part of the US. There would be no hiding those kind of numbers, especially given the logistics of getting supplies to the troops.

Second, since when are China and Mexico cozy? Mexico is so corrupt they can't stop criminals and illegal immigrants from crossing the border. Do you really think they could keep a secret like this?

Third, what possible real world reason would China have for invading the USA at this time? China is a burgeoning trade giant and we are one of their major business partners. China is slowly moving toward becoming a major player in the global economy. Getting involved in a land war with the world's only superpower would not help them achieve that goal, it would make it impossible.

Finally, a possible explanation for what caused this rumor. One, China exports arms and military equipment all over the world. Isn't it possible that the Mexican Army or federales are using surplus Chinese equipment, possibly as part of drug interdiction efforts? Also, I know that our (US) military sends observers to train with friendly and neutral countries all the time. Just because there are some Chinese guys near the Texas Border does not necessarily mean they are there as part of an invasion force.

Just for the record, this has to be the silliest rumor I've heard since all the UN invasion nonsense during the early 90's.

The testimony from Roger Pardo-Mauer, deputy assistant secretary of defense for Western Hemisphere affairs, comes as China is attempting to exercise more influence in the United States' back yard. Beijing has sought closer ties with Fidel Castro's Cuba, controls shipping ports in Central America and may be gathering intelligence in the region as it has done in the United States for years, officials have said.
China also is moving closer to Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, a popularly elected leftist who regularly criticizes the United States and has been seeking partners in an anti-U.S. coalition. China is searching for more sources of energy as its economy expands to the word's sixth largest and its appetite for oil grows. Venezuela is the United States' No. 3 foreign supplier of crude.

Quick Question:

Why is America allowed to place bases around China, (7 out of the 15 border Nations have one) and China can't put troops in South America and Central America? It's only fair. Is it not?

Maybe once China has a large economy they should begin to do that, Venezuela, Mexico, Brazil need a hand in the Amazon on China have a lot of spare troops and they're already selling weapons to a few of them.

China is going to need alot more then Just 90,000 troops to invade the US, considering that the US still as a little ver 1 million troops here in the state and a majority of our Airforce is here,

of course maybe Bush knows that china wants to invade the US and Bush has been promised that him and his daddy and his family will all be safe if bush lets china buildup in mexico to invade us,

It is true, China has been gathering intelligence from and developing relationships in Latin America, for fifty years. The greatest intelligence successes within the Intel. communities at large, in modern times have not been those of KGB or CIA. They have been those of the Chinese, in gaining technologies, from the west, that would have prevented them from becoming a new vialble superpower so soon after the USSR's demise.
China is presently pursuing a more aggressive friendship march into the west and this is necessary for the welfare of China. It should come as no surprise.
We haven't fully concentrated a large portion of our intel efforts on China for more than 15 years. Even before that the western intel communities saw threats from China. But just being big didn't make them a viable candidate for priorties. The technology wasn't there to effectively wage a REAL war with the US.
That is no longer the case. While our intel eyes were firmly focused on the USSR after Vietnam, and then towards the Middle East after that. China has acquired the very best of everything militarily. And politically the nation is evolving into a much more liberal form of socialism. Ownership and private industry work hand in hand with the government to expand China's interest and influence globally. And they are quite effective and adroit in this endeavor. Chinese people will tell you that it's nice to live in China now.
That may be a relative thing in comparison to the days of Mao. But that is the feeling now with much of the Chinese populace. and the other nations of the world are taking notice, as well.
In the US, on the otherhand. The current political philosophy that currently governs our foriegn policy, is one of desparation and folly. The powers that be, see a world with only one superpower. Us. They mistakenly, have embarked on a process of global bullying. They see the dragon looming in the background, but they think that if we can get there and hold it first, then we will have maintained the high ground. We are acting as a world police nation and it must end. It is a policy that will serve only to alienate any and eventually all of our smaller, poorer friends around the world. And of course, where will they run to?
The Chinese on the other hand, are enjoying the freedom to do basically anything they want, short of military action, while the US is not looking. It seems that Beijing is taking a lesson from Ho Chi Mihn, who said " ...sometimes it is better to step to the side when the bull is chasing you. Often the bull, in anger, may run right off the cliff." I know that's a bad translation but it basically means that they should just sit back and let the US destroy itself politically and militarily, as long as it seems intent on doing so.
China is waging every type of war it can, short of military,(yes there are many kinds of war) against the US because it is in their best interest to do so. But don't make the mistake of thinking China is or will control the Canal zone. And it isn't possible for even 10,000 Chinese troops to be anywhere in Mexico. You just don't understand Mexico/US relations if you seriously believe that. I can tell that you've not spent much time around the border states.

Do you guys realize that this thread is like 3 years old? So not only is there a ludicrously big chinese expeditionary force hiding out in mexico, but they've been there for 3 years and the MSM hasn't caught wind of it yet! I would say at this point we deserve to be invaded if that's the case.

Even if this were remotely true it would be suicide on the Chinese end.Even if they managed to get past our military,national guard,and police....they would have to deal with the hornets nest of rednecks shooting at everything and anything that has a red star on it. Since 1 in every 10 people in this country own guns and would in all likeliness be like shooting fish in a barrel.

The people have guns theory is just that, a theory. It is a quite simple matter to disarm the citizens.

You drag 10 people into the street and shoot them. Drag 10 more and then demand that the townsfolk give up their guns ....... simple. If that doesnt work, you shoot them and get 10 more people lined up and on and on and on until the right result occurs or all the townsfolk are dead, then move on to the next town.

You people dont think an enemy invader is going to play nice do you? Its all about Terror. How long do you think the US would last hypothetically if a whole town/city/state was masacered (sp) in this way and televised?

And dont think the Chinese would'nt do it that way because they already have a history of doing it that way.
