Just a curiosity thread, but i would be interested in seeing the types of paranormal experiences that you yourself have had over your life so far- no detailed and long written explanations, just a list of the types of experiences you have had and the place or situation/circumstances you experienced them in.
I want to see which are the most common or widely experienced types of paranormal experiences the members of this forum had have so far, i think in the long term it could help us gain a better understanding about the types of paranormal experiences people experience and in what situations or circumstances one is most likely to experience them in etc.
As for me, from the top of my head, these are the types of experiences i have had so far;

a. Witnessed shadow people- on my own- always in a building that i was currently living in.
b. Physical contact with paranormal entities- sometimes a soft touch, sometimes aggressive push, always on my own.
c. Strange noises: Baby/human screams, sounds of stuff crashing (sometimes the sound of a single object, other times many and very loud), footsteps, sound of things being moved, talking (never clearly spoken), doors slamming. Always in a building that i was living in, sometimes i heard the noises on my own and other times i was with other people who heard them too.
d. Seeing stuff being moved or pulled, like bed covers- always in place I was living at, with other person but other person was not awake.
e. Huge unexplained sensation of fear (related to paranormal events)- always on my own- always in place I was living at.
f. OBE’s (don’t know if they count as paranormal experiences)- always in building during sleep or in bed.
g. Physically seen bright orb like things whizzing around- in a my old home, on my own.
h. Animals freaking out- normally nice and sand dog or car fiercely growling and intently staring with hair on end at invisible thing, always on my own in a place I was living at currently.
i. Seeing a pet dog in a room when it was actually not there (dog was currently living at a friends place in a far away location)- although I experienced this on my own at my old home, I was not the only person to witness this.

Well those are the types of experiences I’ve had that I can think of for now, how about you guys?

I'm not a huge believer in the paranormal but I do seem to have the ability to read people's thoughts or know what they will say before they say it. I have also noticed recently that I can make people think what I want them to to an extent.

Slept in my sisters bed once when she left home cos she had a double bed and I only had a single and when I woke up I could hear them having long intimate conversations with each other for about 5 minutes. My sister and boyfriend where at there new home at the time.

Never seen any ghosts but ive woken up a few times to find my rabbit, that died years ago running around on my bed for a couple of seconds and then dissapearing. I jumped out of bed and was totally freaked out but now ive just put it down to me waking up too early or something (waking dreams I think there called?)

Lifetime of lucid dreams and up untill a few years ago OBE's too.

1. I think the most freaky time was when I was at boarding school and hadn’t done my French work. So I handed the book in; and at night went to collect it from my teaches desk so that I could fill it in.
On my way down a corridor I got this really sinister feeling; which was scary and made me want to move quickly. But the light was on, it was clear outside too, and I wasn’t that worried about being caught “just taking a walk”. So I controlled myself and walked at about normal speed till I was past the stair well at the other side of the corridor. However I was massively freaked out (can’t explain it).

So I grabbed my book; decided not to give in and walked back the same way. (Same stuff happened). By the third time there was like a very strong “warning feeling” even immediately before I got to the corridor, but still I went ahead. The amazing thing is that I was so scared that even though I was being rational I couldn’t but help run down the corridor after about half way through.
4th time (way back) very nearly opted out; and could have gone down the stair well (in which case I probably wouldn’t be writing this). But I went into the corridor and this time really just had to run, was totally freaked out, got to the end, opened the door (looked behind) and glimpsed a figure. It was like my feet were carrying me and I couldn’t stop.
I wanted to stay longer but simply couldn’t. And to be honest could have gone back immediately but didn’t for a good ten minutes (was telling a friend what had happened and weirdly he didn’t want to go down their straight away ether) (despite wanting to at first).

The really odd thing about this paranormal experience is that corridor is not cramped or damp. In fact it’s in a posh part of what used to be (years ago) a grand, private English Country house. The place is about 250 years old. Also weirdly is that I had used the corridor many times before, and many times afterwards; and I never had an experience remotely like it again (even on occasions when circumstances where the same).

P.S I can’t remember too well what the figure was like, other than it was in the shape of a tall person, who was wearing like a dark gown. They seem to have a face that was mostly black, although I remember knowing there were some features; I can no longer clearly remember what they were like.

2. There was that other time when I was a kid and I wanted to talk to ghosts so I decided I would use the power of my imagination to steer them up (by reciting there are ghosts) not much happened instantly, but it quickly changed the mood of the house (we all fought with each other noticeably more), and in addition to once hearing laughter come from the sitting room, there was that other time when I stroked a dog that wasn’t there (all within the period of me doing that power of the imagination stuff).

3. A friend of mine who stayed over night from school once said he had seen a ghost. I’ve never seen what he saw; but the amazing thing was a ghostly women figure was (apparently) holding out a baby early in the morning; but nobody had told him about the haunted baby noise (which people used to hear when my parents first moved in).

4. Can’t be bothered to mention the rest.

By the way Tokis Phoenix used to live above an antique shop; I think that’s why there was so much paranormal activity because of all the old furniture retaining ghosts-furniture.
Just thought I would mention that; otherwise I would be finding it hard to believe myself, but it is actually true.

Tokis Phoenix: do you reckon the ghost dog, and the living dog which lived at the other place could have been two different dogs of the same breed? (One dead one not).
Oh and don’t say ANYTHING about how I know you used to live above an antique shop!!!

Well, I've got a suprisingly long list. You'd think my life would be more exiciting considering what I've seen and done concerning the paranormal.

1. I've seen a figure/orb outside at night. I saw it twice, first while walking back to my house(scared the **** out of me), and the second time I saw it through the window after I had gotten into my house.

2. I've seen a UFO. Not sure if it had little green men in it, but I thought it might be worth mentioning.

(Now we come to the more interesting part)
3. I've performed Telekinesis, Remote Viewing, nearly Astral Projected, Telepathy, Empathy, effecting other peoples thoughts, precognition, and I've also 'summoned' my pet cat into my presence, simply by reaching out with my mind, and picturing it in the room I was in.

And thats just about it. Sorry about the jumble on number 3, but I didn't want to have TOO long a list.

I currently live in a house where an elderly couple commited suicide.
Sometimes I can smell them. Cigar smoke and talcum powder.

Sometimes when playing TexasHoldem at my local casino, I get a preminition that it is my turn to win even if I seemingly have an inferior hand.

I have seen black froms skitter across the floor thru walls.

UFOs. I'm not sure wheather they are nuts and bolts, interdiminsionoal or paranormal.
