Now im sure when most people see this image they will cry photo shop, but i'm intrigued, as i cannot find any information about this picture, and stumbled on it while perusing this site.

www.firstscience.com...

Here is the image of this UFO, can anyone with the knowledge of tell tale signs of manipulation see if this is definitely a fake?

I'd have to say it's a fake. Although it is hard to analyze such a small for details. It just looks a bit off, it's still well done though. One thing that really makes me think it's a fake is for the fact of it being in Sao Paulo. Sao Paulo is a huge city (really huge! I spent 4 months there late last year) with about 15 - 20 million people, it's one of the largest cities in the world. Something like this hovering low over the city in the middle of the day would have had tons of reports and photos i'd think.

So I take it the trees are faked as well then, as they they show the same type of JPEG-compression artifacts as the craft.

Listen, I believe that this is *probably* a hoax as well, but the old "look at the weird pixels"-theory don´t hold anylonger.

As for the reply that more people should had seen it, I agree, unless the craft wasnt visible for the cameraman/woman either. It could have been hiding in higher frequencys (infrared).

anyway, its a cool pic... it wont change much though.

In a 1600% zoom of the UFO, notice that the colour of the sky in the zoomed picture is slightly open blue than thebackground of a sky
Definetly a copy paste

The zoom happened at a Microsoft photo editor with sharpening tool

,but unfortunately i have not upload space enought and the uploading service i have do not help me

This photo do not conviece me
hoax

I'd have to say it's a fake

jra...
just out of curiosity, why would you HAVE to say its fake. would HAVE to say its fake just like Christians HAVE to say the world was made in 6 days.

sorry to bring this up but that sounded more like a knee jerk reaction than an actuall opinion based on analysis.

It just goes to prove a point that if a UFO actually landed in a field, and i notice the occupents are out, so a go up to it and take 1000 pics with my digital camera with a fat memory card, and think WICKED, I'VE DONE IT...PROOF, EVERYONE MOANS ABOUT GRAINY OR BLURRY IMAGES, BUT I'VE ACTUALLY NOW GOT PROOF...WooOOOHHOOooo!!!!!

....then some one comes along and says....."NAAAAH!!! its a model mate, you built it," or " dont prove nufin, not with what they can do these days".

The deffinition of a skeptic....Some one who is afraid to think outside of the box because they are they dont like to be seen to be wrong. easier to think with the mainstream eh? safety in numbers and all that.

this wasn't a intented to insult jra, just your post brought up a few points that i felt needed to be said.

I don't "HAVE" to say it's a fake, but I feel that it is, mostly due to the location. The city basically has half the population of Canada all in a big, densely packed city. Lots of people have digital cameras, camera phones etc. This thing would gotten tons of attention if it was really there.

If you actually had photos like that. Then it would be more believable, but what we're seeing here is one small, highly compressed image. We should be seeing hundreds (if not thousands) of images of this thing from different people if it truly was hovering/flying over the city. That is my main problem with this.

I's have to disagree with your definition. To me a skeptic is someone who will not fully believe in something until more information is available. Or at least go with the side that has the strongest evidence.

Unfortunately no single UFO sighting has been heavily documented with thousands of photos. So until then, I'll remain skeptical of these images. And just for the record. I do believe that life exists on other worlds all over the Galaxy. I'd find it hard to believe that there wouldn't be. As for Aliens being here? I'm open to the idea, but remain skeptical due to the lack of any good information/evidence available.

I have also lived in Sao Paulo and while I am not 100% certain, this appears to be taken in Morumbi, a neighborhood of Sao Paulo. The buildings in the background fit, that's why I'm guessing Morumbi.

As JRA stated, Sao Paulo is a world Mega City and there are plenty of well educated people there. I find it difficult to believe that in broad daylight, millions did not see this, take photos and video, and notify Globo, the major television network.

Lacking other photos, and with no news stories, both of which should be in plenty if it actually happened, I put this down as a fabrication and not as evidence of Alien visitation.

it is an very sensible answer
there are many UFO hunders who would not only taken pictures but videos as well at a sight of UFO, chiefly at a crowded city like Sao Paolo

so only one???
weird isn't it???
what does your heart tell you???
what does your logic???

Anomic of Nihilism, i believe in UFO

i only need scientific evidences, not twisted images of a guy who desperatelly need to draw attention...
...then i will be from the firsts who will accept their excistence

mmmm, well, actually i do accept

You'll notice this looks exactly like portrails of "so called" NAZI UFOs.

Just search "NAZI + UFO" in Google Search and you will see many representations exactly the same as seen in the Original Pic on this thread.

That alone convinces me this is not a legit Photo.

Most likely IMO someone using the recent surge in "Belief" of the "NAZI UFO" crowd to give their "Fake UFO Pic" an 'aurora' of credibility.

Plus it was likely very easy to layer an existing image of a "so called" "NAZI UFO" into a picture. Much easier than say creating a "fake UFO" from scratch.
