A hostile government takeover is an incremental thing but what are some actions that are crossing a line and forcing at least civil disobedience or even full fledged revolt?

Forced carrying of national IDs?
Limits on travel?
Bans on certain weapons? lol
Martial law.....

What exactly are you proposing, and does it involve survival?

With an id card type thing being finalised right now here in the uk its alteast 1 step closer to being forched to carry them.

Limits on travel?
Well that would come towards the end of the road then you know that martial law is just round the corner.

Bans on certain weapons?
Yeah... most weapons are abnned in the uk

Martial law tends to be a pretty obvious sign of a government that wants to controll its population.

I'm asking - What personnally pushes you to the point where you say the government has gone too far and you have to step out of your comfort box and do something about it.

If you don't draw a line somewhere, then the incremental restricting of freedoms will at some point have you trapped. This relates to survival in the case of a hostile government takeover which I think arguably has been happening for some time now.
