Istanbul UFO Sighting...With Clearish Pic

Here is a recent UFO sighting in Istanbul. I think this picture was taken yesterday.

Is it just me, or has there been increased UFO activity lately?

My first reaction was a hot-air balloon, oddly lit, from a view underneath the craft.

Just my first reaction to the photo, though.

got beaten to the post, so im coming in to raise a few points.


1) It was seen for ages over Iraq and turkey, theres even another forum (Military stuff) That has a members only posting from some PMC's working the green zone.

(Private Military Contractors)

They saw two sets of lights, rotated around each other, form a shape very similar to this and head off into northern iraq / turkies way.

2) I hope some other pics of this start coming out if there are any, and remember, turkey had a major sighting last year, but nothing this clear and bright!

This is the result. Very strange as the dark hides some weird lights and other details...

i am too tired for a proper look at it , but instead of a " C " [ roman alphabet ] , ask yourself :

is that an islamic " cresent " symbol ?

its just a random thought , but the first thing that comes to mind in the cultural context of a insignia that might be present on a mundane craft over turkish airspace

That "C" might actually be a cresent moon....the symbol of Islam. Seems appropriate since the ufo was travelling over Turkey which is primarily a Moslem country. Maybe the ufo pilots were sending the Moslems in Turkey a message.

Be careful guys that area has a long story of many hoaxes and faked pics,vids and also stories..some years before even one meyer of a city there was implicated in a Hoax in order to attract tourists in the area...all news from there should be verified with much care !!

Can't tell for sure because of the dark conditions, but that ufo has much different styling than the American variety. Looks customized for that part of the world with a moon decale. Flying in style, baby!

You bet, UFOs are customized for locality.

A kite maybe? Is that fabric or paper against some sort of framework? And maybe the items at the bottom are kite tails, usually used to stabilize kites?

Actually, it's interesting the way the lights themselves are also arranged in a crescent. Is that just a coincidence or by design? Sly and stylish...those aliens.

First impression: Looks like an umbrella with LEDs at the end of each "spoke."

very interesting pic! but still, I can't shake the feeling that the outter "skin" of it looks like a fabric of some kind. Maybe it's just the way the light is hitting it.

Must be going on some off trail trek. See they've got their flood lights all set up on the hood. Gives their ufo that rustic, open-coutntry look.

While I do believe that aliens are out there, I wonder why so many of them put those darned flood lights on their space ships.

If they want to attract attention to themselves, why don't they just land on the front yard of an ATS administrator. If they don't want to attract attention, then they should turn off those effin' lights.

Looks like the Bat-plane. Maybe some delinquent aliens hot-wired Batman's plane and went for a joy ride. Now they're probably lost and that's why they ended up over Turkey. Kids are the same the universe over.
