New years UFO on FOX!?

I saw part of the News Years "everybody stand drunk in the street" thing that they do in NY every year, and at one point a reporter was standing by a group of people who were all claiming to see a UFO. They all pointed to the same place and described the same thing, and seemed genuinely concerned. The reporter would not even look and the camera didn't look in the direction they were pointing, and they cut back to the studio pretty quick. I would not even give this the time of day except for the number of people who were seeing it and trying to get the camera to look that way.

Anyone else catch this? Or have some thoughts about this? This was on FOX NEWS channel, New Years Eve, at around 11ish. Sorry I can't provide more details, it WAS a holiday, after all.
