***How are points gained?***

Hi all!!

Please forgive this "newbie" question, but searching and FAQ's so far hasn't helped so far

Could anybody expalin *how* points are gained please? I assume it's related to the number of posts individuals send but are there other ways? I'm curious, as I've only just (well, yesterday!) returned to ATS Bulletin Boards, and sooo much has changed!! (Love it, BTW!!)

I realise from the "Store" that points can be used to update accounts, so I'm keen to see how gaining such points can be achieved. Thanx to anyone who can "shed some light" on this!!

Sorry, there is just *so* much (good) stuff here, I *completely* overlooked the "obvious" (Woods, trees, that kinda thing!!)
